With the Aces you say you'd bet if he checks a diamond on turn, then you say CRing Q
would be good... not sure whether you mean CRing a turned Q
(as a bluff) or one in his hand when a 4th
turns (for value)?
In either case, I'm (again) curious on how to balance the plays?
I see very little raising going on on monotone turns, either for bluff or for value. People tend to wait for river with their one card nut flushes. Ideas on that?

I think if villain bets this river with AK, its as a bluff. AJ actually seems like a good hand to turn into a bluff here assuming villain gets to the river this way. I'm ok with folding the 6s as its near the bottom of our range (AJ & AK are probably the only worse hands we have here) and I imagine its unlikely villain turns AK into a bluff. I think its a big stretch to assume villain has hands like K4s here, maybe the odd 87s.

I cant understand what i was saying there regarding Qx, doesnt make sense to me- sorry, maybe i mis-spoke...I think if we are villain we should be betting a made flush there most of the time so we can B/3B.
W/out history id bet red AA on most diamond turns for value for the same reason, that i would assume most villains bet a flush oop. I think theres value in protecting our hand vs a chop too.
I like waiting till river with our flushes when IP too, i think its better for our overall range as we will have plenty of pairs/2pairs etc that prob want to call the turn
Btw- sorry, i didnt see this post until today

Looking back its a pretty trivial fold i think, i agree with your ranges

(75o on the left) What are we expecting to get called by when we bet this river? Honestly, it seems like villain should fold Ax and even 3x to a river bet given how the board ran out. Ch/Call and Ch/Fold are both pretty gross alternatives, but so is facing a reraise if we bet.
Its a pretty tough spot i find.
I generally prefer a bet when in doubt but i think in theory chk and prob call is best.
I find most people dont bluff raise or bluff bet enough in this spot so I tend to bet if i think there are going to be some worse hands in villains range that he may call with occasionally, obviously there arent many.
I think his range will often be high cards with a diamond so i guess in theory checking is better with the intention of calling but i just dont see enough players betting KdQx or AdX on the riv...
If i know my opponent really well i think c/f could be good
What do u think?
What do u think?
I think when you check the river villain will put you on a marginal one pair hand. So it probably comes down to what you think villain thinks you will do with 1 pair facing a bet. I think bad and really good players will bluff this river for different reasons and we should probably call. Against mediocre regs we've played with before we can probably fold more often not expecting them to be creative enough to try to bluff us off a pair.
