Hi DS. K8o hand on right table.

Blind v blind. You c/r a 567 flop & check call an Ace turn.

A 9 fell on the river to give you a straight, but were you planning on showing down unimproved ? I wondered because I think you said that you would have c-bet the turn with a hand like T8o.

Hi, Q8 is the bottom of your range here, so I think you can easily fold.

sorry mate, just saw your post Smile

I think you are prob right looking back at it, but i feel its prob a bit closer than you might.

I think all of our 9x hands are a call on the riv..

Thoughts?

No problem. You don't have any 9 in your flop checking range. You have 8x, Tx, 6x,Jx. So Q8 is the exact bottom of your range.
Also, he cant have that many bluff. Some busted FD like 23s,a2,a3,a5,k2,k3,k5,q2,a3,a5, and he has a zillion value hand.
So the bottom of my calling range is a T here, because it beats some of his value range.

Are there any turns where you would consider rebluffing in this spot?

I think value betting AK on the river (as villain in SB) is overly optimistic. You (hero in HJ) are going to still have a lot of small PPs, 4x, maybe some weaker Tx on this river, but very few worse hands. AJ and maybe AsXs, but the rest of your Ax I feel like should either be folding the flop or the turn. Even Ax wheel draws got there on this river.

I think there's a pretty good argument for just a river Ch/Fold.

Considering that Hero happily folds AJ, I don't know how AK could be a valuebet for villain. I'm actually starting to think about CR bluff here.

Sorry guys, i havent got audio working on this computer, did i say villain should vbet AK on the riv? Its definately very thin and probably bad vs most players except some rare/High SD bound opponents.

Obviously we are targetting exactly AJo. c/c is clearly worst without a specific read and c/f being standard line.

This is prob the perfect hand for a riv cr bluff pasita, this or AJ. I like it

Probably not. From a balance perspective this is obv terrible and if it was against someone i play regularly this would be the 1st hand on the list for a turn cr semibluff.

As i think i mentioned in the video, most villains will be xtremely SD bound when they raise this flop and i doubt im getting any folds

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with cr this turn btw, i just didnt do it this hand for the above reasons.
