Another good video. About memorizing dead cards----surely online one can write the cards down to a piece of paper? Only takes a couple of seconds.

I did this the first few times I played stud online, but I guess its better to get into the habit of remembering the dead cards - it keeps your mind active and obviously would help live. Then again if you're multitabling I think making a note of the cards would be a simple way of doing it. 2+2 has a post about tips for improving your memory for these situations http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthread.php?t=94469

It's going to be be faster and better practice to go about it the real way. You'll find you'll be concentrating on writing it down more than playin the hand, or at least I did when I attempted this until I trained myself to do it. It takes practice, practice, practice! I can play 7 hours of live stud and likely recall 4 or 5 hands to the tee that played after my session and I was fumbling w/a pen and paper 2 years ago.

Hi bottomset, I enjoyed your FR NL videos at 2+2, and would like to see more of those. I actually watched again the 25NL 2tabling one earlier today. I really love it when you get in a tight spot and start hyperventilating, like this is not supposed to happen at 25NL. Fear not, I recommended you highly to Joe Tall, so no worries there.
What applies to you, and also some lower limit DC NL videos I've seen, both have mentioned couple times that "at these limits" and along these lines, like you expect the opponents to be soft. I on the other hand have found that every shot I've taken at 100NL and 200NL the opposition has been softish, but it is 50NL and 25NL where they crucify you if you cbet/ they call/ you check on the turn...they will bet you now when they have seen weakness...the bloody hyenas. I just have this idea which of cource could be totally wrong that at 25NL and 50NL the players are grinders and pretty solid but if you move up you can find more easily some proper fish just gambling during the weekend. Putting 25 bucks down, nawwwhh! I want to gamboool 200 bucks.
The other explation is everytime I go to higher limits I luck out on table selection.
Would be interesting to see a video addressing this vs. FR.
Bottomset, I don't know at which level you are now playing but you should make a video of that, it should be good.
Great video.
One thing to point out is in the 3 flush 578 at 52:00ish you state he has 11 outs when he really has 7 outs which makes it much worse to call
Not a bad video, but can you guys try not to talk over each other so much? A good bit of the commentary sounded like clumps of overlapped mumbling followed by grunts of agreement.
