flop jj3r, you check raise QTo turn king check check river is an ace
pots around $130 what do you think of an overbet here of like 180->190 looking like you are trying to push him off a split/nobody is folding an ace here. I don't think check/raising the river is a good idea and I have a hard time believing he folds any ace to a river bet.
I know you apologized for the ability to see cards. This series would be so much better if we couldn't see both their cards. I like to visualize their range and play along but hey there are their hole cards right there. The commentary is great as usual. I don't think I have ever given a vid less then 5 stars on DC but gonna have to do it here.

yerh i thought this too, i think an overbet is mandatory with his whole ruver betting range,
it'd be cool if we could see the cards but you couldn't. So we'd know his hand and you guys would be talking about ranges etc.
nice vid ,

huh... interesting... i thought people liked being able to see both players cards?
How does everyone feel about this? Having the hole cards on the video is definitely an extra step of work. If you guys dont like it, we wont do it!
I haven't watched the video yet, but I don't like seeing villain's hole cards. It would maybe be cool to see them AFTER the hand is over, but during the hands they kind of spoil the video imo.
I try to think situations myself and seeing opponent's hole cards really kills that, it's hard to non-biasedly think about ranges when you know what the other one has.
I love seeing the villains hole cards because as you think about hands i can think what the other person is thinking.
Like at around 42:00-43:00 with the KxQc on the turn isn't folding > raising> calling
As you said it's the worst card in the deck to continue on and if he is continuing it's likely Ax, 8x, and KcX hands. I'm doubting he ever has air here. With that said folding is good. But isn't raising better if he folds Kc or if we think he'll fold at all? I mean are we planning to bet a river if checked to and get a fold? I guess i'm lost on the river play. What would you do with AQ on a blankish river like 6d. Like you said maybe they're thinking on a level above me but i don't see many people 2 barreling here without the Kc type hand. I think even 6x7c would probably c/f.
Would appreciate a reply on this and also what AQ should do on a blankish river.
TY!
Seeing both sets of hole cards is the nuts imo!

Is shipping the turn with Q7o a valid option here? This might be results oriented, but FWF mentions this in one of his HU videos, that it's not a big problem to sort of turn your hand into a bluff in these spots if it helps you avoid bigger mistakes on the river. Sure, if he calls, you're usually crushed, but making incorrect folds/calls on the river can be worse when the pot's so big already.
+1
yeah +1
Is there a way to make the opponents hole cards show up at the end of the hand? I feel like its really easy to get bias being we know his cards. I call it, Mike Sexton syndrome. lol
One of the video's I enjoyed the most in a long time. Made a bunch of good notes. No real questions though ![]()
