Josh,

Even though a lot of this has been tedious, and you are missing out on some points that you wanted to drive home, the lessons that we have learned so far have increased my ability to work out hands via spreadsheets exponentially. I think the most important thing, like you said, is that we are now able to construct almost every scenario by adjusting the hand example that we used over the first several episodes, and that in itself makes the series worth while.

I agree with soleztis! The series is well worthwhile and provides a great way to see not only WHAT works but WHY it works, and for me the WHY is really important to being able to: play confidently; tilt less; and win more!

I am working on generalizing some of your methods to enable more rapid analysis. I have already turned all the 'combo' calculations (which are very error prone when done by hand) into formulae, and am thinking about how to automate the flush-draw calculations (which will be even more relevant on two-tone flops). Ideally I want to get it down to only having to input the hand and the assumptions about the players bet/fold/raise frequencies...

BTW a small point on calculating capped rakes - using the MIN function is way easier than using IF (and doesn't require you to repeat the calculation in the formula).

First let me say, AWESOME.

Not really computer savy, and you just helped me create a very, very cool tool to add to my poker arsenal.

Not every video can be HH's, sweating, or talking about poker zen. This was a great addition to already a great library of poker videos at DC.

Please, continue to offer these type of things Josh, it is appreciated.

Thanks for a great video series.

I originally read the first two posts on my phone and didn't respond, but I wanted to come in and say that all 3 of these posts are incredibly encouraging for me and help me get through the long hours that these vids take. I think this stuff can be incredibly powerful when used right and I'm thrilled that I have gotten that point through to at least a few of you.
