I sound like a complete noob @ the end with the AJdd but basically my point was that the only hands I'm really betting that make sense to c/r vs. with Q2 are AJdd and ATdd. Sorry it came out sounding dumb.

Hi there. In this spot, with A2o vs a very tight player who 3-bet you on the BB would you ever consider raising and barreling the turn?

You said the guy was SD bound but his WTSD stat was 29, though you also said at the start of the vid that you had played for 5 or so hours so maybe you knew more about him then the stats indicated.

But against a player that has a 'true' WTSD - 29 surely this 987 is a decent board to try and push him off AK/AQ/KQ with the idea of raising his flop c-bet and betting the turn. I'd generally expect this type of player to be honest so if I get 3-bet on the flop or he calls the turn I'd give up.

I think a player like this rarely 3-bets pre-f in this situation with JT, KJ, KT, QJ and will rarely be tricky, looking to C/R oop on the turn.
I guess with a WTSD of 29 I'm also assuming he often will fold those AK/Q hands on the turn with no improvement unless I think he thinks I'm a lunatic.
What do you think?

Ah, I just heard what you said about 678 being a better board and I'm positive your correct about that.

Edit: Just thought about it again and I think your right about folding the flop on the 789 board. I guess we can only hope to push out AQ/AK and every other hand in his pre-f 3-bet range is either getting to the river, getting to SD or the nuts. Overall attacking this in this situation is probably just bleeding money.
Maybe if the pot was a bit bigger such as if another poor tight passive (+fit/fold post-flop) type player had limped in and called the pre-f 3 then maybe there's some reason to try and steal.

@aaahshoveit - yeah the thing is if you took his WTSD when 3-bet pf, I'm guessing it would be pretty high. Your assumptions are pretty good overall and I agree - a wtsd stat like that means you can get them off some decent A-hi's a good portion of the time, but in this spot on this board it wasn't for me.

Lol, the AJdiamonds hand Smile You said hands that you bet/calldown the turn with that are worse than his are only 2 combos - ATdd and AJdd and all others beat him, and you were wondering is it profitable for him to ch/r there? Smile
