I made a misstake discussing the turn bluff. On the turn the pot will obv be 8sb instead of 6 as I said. So villain needs to fold 2/10 = 20% of the time. Sorry about this.
Sushiglutton and Stheif09 continue with the LHE trend of thought. Today's topic is the range explorer tool in poker razor.
Sthief09 and sushiglutton blend NL and LHE together in doing work with PokerRazor. Begin with basic theory: EV calcs, Equity, Best response lines, brief intro to Razor. Then get sucked into discussion on river decisions, ace high call-downs, floating, and game theory analysis.

I want to thank Chris for his guest appereace despite his initial fear. I hope the experience wasn't too traumatic! Anyway I appreciate it!
Def. watching this one -- was great discussion in the forums, interested to see how the razor calcs work out.

Great vid guys -- I think it's still going to be tough to avoid being exploited in this spot when you are the Button. I think the gist is probably that you just don't want to play when he's in the game, and if you do, you might be best off just closing your eyes and clicking randomly when he c/r's you. ![]()

I did some sims off camera, hehehe, and tried to see what BTN needed to do to no be that exploitable. Being pushed off by 9
6
may be something BTN must accept. However by adding more Ax on safe turns (none connecting with the board) I was able to find ranges that made XR with 9s6s a misstake at least. It's amazing how much the BDFD does! Specificaly it allows BB to continue much more frequently on the turn. As we saw in the vid OTR will have a hand worth continuing with ~50%. Not bad for trash!
Another thing I learned was how much of the value from a flop XR that comes from setting up the turn bluff on a board like this. I think it's different on a more ragged board (taht we studied earlier in the vid) where BTN is unlikely to have OC's. In that case the biggest part of ur expectation comes on the flop.
If u play OTR it's a good time to activate the fnupple bat signal IMO.

I think you misread the graph. The plot is actually of our EV vs. Villain, not the other way around. Jd7d is actually doing well against our specific hand.
