On the 22 hand at around 38min where the hand has K37dd8 where I checkraise 22 and Jason has 78 the discussion is "what would Doc do if the turn is a 9", and the answer was "call 1 or 2 more streets", but I really thought he'd fold there. I think he should call, but come on he just folded Ad3d on 579dd when I 3bet the flop!
I got pretty tilted near the end, that's really not my standard game. Would have been nice to make top pair once or twice I didn't think I ran too hot either.
At 1:09 I really did consider turning my hand into a bluff there, but after I bet the turn I changed my mind, the original plan would definitely be to bet there. I know my hand's often not good but I kinda figured he was sick of me blasting him.
At 1:11 yeah my c/c with A2o is horrible but I was just pissed off. Especially with my read on im that's just not good I don't think he's floating nearly enough.
At 1:19 where I have K9 vs 33 on 993 I think after his checkraise and I 3bet I guess it doesn't really matter what he does honestly. When he 3bets the flop though I know for sure he's huge, he can't rep a bluff in any way at all and he'd just never play a flush draw like this. So I know he's huge, I'm not gonna bluff and I'll call if I have a good 9, I should probably fold if I have a bad 9. I think all the tiny betting to "give me a chance to do something dumb" is not good at all because Doc doesn't bluff like that.
I guess the issue is that he didn't make any kinds of bluffs at all earlier so he can't really do anything but rep tons of strength so get the money in it really doesn't matter how, and the answer to the problem is bluff more. Doesn't have to be tons more, just every once in awhile is enough for me to know you're at least capable of something.

What are your thoughts on the checking back 2nd pair vs bet/calling. What type of players do you prefer to play each style against. I feel like checking back 2nd pair my opponents can play more perfectly against me but at the same time i don't mind the variance. How can i improve my game?

I think on the 33 vs K9 hand, the best way to get value out of a bluff for Doc would prly be to play the flop as he did and then chk the turn to 'give up' and induce a bluff from Ted if he was getting floated. I think thats the best line for Ted to take if he thinks Doc is making a move. Cause once he call instead of raising his range usually becomes a lot stronger than if he continues to put money in, cause then he can still have bluffs in his range.
The thing about call/lead on turn or river is that Doc would NEVER call with the intention of leading if he had air in that spot. I dunno.. I just feel like its hard to get action from anything but a 9 no matter how hard he tries because there was no previous metagame in similar spots where hed shown that he was capable of bluffing.

What are both your opinions on this? I think getting it in on flop[or small RR] as well, and agree with annettes post, but mainly cos,so often he has a 9 to RR flop and if we call, and spade hits,it kills our action, espcially this deep.
