not a fan of the squeeze with J5o. I know you're lagging it up for the sake of the vid, but this hand really just has awful equity when called and I'm sure you can find better marginal squeeze hands there.

tough to decide whether I like the turn bet or not. I'm def not a bet sizing expert. My first thought was to shove the turn since our $42 bet looks strong and committing so I don't think we ever get hero called. I thought a shove might look more like a KQ AK with one club type bluff and get us looked up by his Tx, Jx, etc hands. So I'm leaning towards a shove, but your bet size does give him the option to ship over top where he might mistakenly believe he has fold equity. merits to both I guess.

I had a question about the QTo hand table 3 it started at about the 10min mark.

You bet $11 into $15 on the river with the straight but there was a flush and pair on board I usually hate this spot because I im thinking there is very few hands he will call that we beat, especially because it easy for him to fold hands worse than ours given all the possible flush and full houses. Maybe he calls with an 8x but I would have thought he reraises your donk turn bet for protection and because of the board could possibly get away from that also.

I usually check call the river in this spot hoping he thinks i've missed the flush draw or was trying to bluff the turn. Can you give me an idea of the hands you think he could have that call the river bet and can you give your opinion on my line? I presume if he reraises you fold?

Thanks.

P.S looking forward to your next videos, been a big fan since your first video when you classified the player types and adjustments to make against them so well, it helped me a lot and is one of my favorite videos.

I like the J5 squeeze in a vacuum, should show a profit with ATC, in general though id prefer something sooted + high card, but if you need to make the move for image sake or to put someone in their place I think its ok.

I prefer a shove on the turn too. I think it avoids disgusting rivers with 25bb left in the stack, gets max value and can easily be balanced with the bare ace of clubs(?).

i think you need to make a slightly larger flop bet with the TT and then just ship the turn. As played you end up with a really weird betsize that might let him draw profitably, but then you have to call it off on almost all rivers even if he gets there and shoves.

the other option of course is to bet smaller on the flop, about 1/2-3/4 pot on the turn, and then ship the river. but I don't like that nearly as much.

I don't mind the J5o as a junk hand to use as a 3b. I'm not as worried about domination as I would with hands like Kx and Qx. How many hands that have a J are typically calling a 3b? JJ is really the only one and we have a chance of hitting an overpair over hands like 88-TT which are calling the 3b quite often.

I'm still trying to make it all the way through this video. Started it twice but stuff keeps getting in the way. Gonna do it sometime this week though Smile

maybe it was because you were talking about the other 69 hand and missed it out, but the A5s hand on table 1 on that 994 board seems a clear cbet to me after isolating the limpcaller. I also would have doublebarreled the K turn when we had cbet and got called.

Having 6 tables going is sort of annoying a bit. It makes the game appear laggy. I think there's plenty of spots with 4 tables if you start talking about what other people are doing and their ranges.

12:00 - KQo is a pretty clear raise here imo

26:40 - what if toorookie shoves the river?

26:50 - why do you check behind the 47o on 558r?
pretty easy cbet imo, esp after his opencomplete/call pre
and if you don't cbet here whats the point in raising pre?

29:00 - I think your 3bet size is a bit too big IP, I tend to make it more like 3x his raise and oop more like the size you chose

35:40 - I don't like that check/raise that much, cause his PFR is 3 and he might not decide to cbet something like KK/QQ/JJ and therefore his range is pretty much AK/AQ and some very very small percentage of total air (maybe KQs and thats it, cause he might just limp or fold anything worse)

40:00 - what discourages me more than the nitty UTG opener is the guy that calls every squeeze Wink you don't look that good with your 52s if you get called by his 65 or whatever

NNICOLAS owns you in every single pot xD
those guys tilt me so hard ^^

48:00 - AQs, I think you lose a value with those small bets against such a huge fish. he is goin to call you down with 9x no matter what betsize you make and he could easily be floating with Ax.

thanks for the feedback guys, I realize I did not play quite my A game in this video, for that I apologize. You guys are helping me though, I realize from your comments there are def some spots I am missing cbets, and also I could stand to optimize my bet sizing, for example making larger value bets against fish.

MacAnthony - I agree with your assessment of the J5o squeeze

mightyjim - I agree about the bet sizing that was a mistake in the planning of that betting line

poemmel - thanks for the comments and yes NICOLAS was owning my soul, it was starting to tilt me heh esp since he has such nit stats.

Thanks again guys, this vid was last minute as I was given one night basically to record it, do audio, produce it etc. I also had not played in over a week and I think the rust showed a bit. I appreciate the insights and criticism.
