Hey Krantz,

Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the game of poker in general. Didn't look like you had much luck with the cards though mate, I presume Emil is highly pleased! With regards to in-game or sound-over, I have to say that although I liked hearing your thoughts on the game in general in a video of this type, I prefer actually listening to your thoughts live during a hand in other standard videos, rather than after the fact in an almost 'replayer' type format. Obviously this was not possible during this video and your recording post-game was a function of the bet itself, but for future 6-max or HU videos I really prefer real-time analysis as has been the case thus far.

One thing I would LOVE to see in your future videos is hearing your thought process during hands as if you were speaking every thought as it entered your mind. Obviously this isn't necessarily possible, but any attempt would be highly beneficial to the viewers. In your forum posts et-cetera you state that we should be taking factors x, y, z into account before doing anything in a hand, and it is this that I would like you to expound upon, especially with regards to your thinking during the moment about what you will do if x, y, or z turn/river cards hit and why, or what you would do if your opponent did x, y, or z on certain cards and how this influences your decision making process. I believe this type of thinking eludes many players and if we could actively see how you use this foresight then perhaps we too could develop this skill when considering a play.

Keep up the good work, your videos have been invaluable to myself and many others.

Regards,

tehmac

Man, you sound as sick as I am lol. That's saying something.

"When he again spoke, his voice had resumed the whole of that rich melody and strength which I had noticed upon our original introduction."

This video is Krantzpirational.

I really really enjoyed listening to you talking about different aspects of poker, and I was extremely dissapointed when you stopped speaking this video. For this reason alone I hope this will be the last video you don't speak "live".

yeah agree with others about the commentary in this video - excellent. you don't always have to talk about what you would or wouldn't do with hand x; listening to your thoughts on poker in general is interesting and useful enough.

i especially liked your comments on how v good players like urindanger aren't "TAG' or a "LAG' but just play wrt their opponents play style.

no wonder krantz is so good, he's allowed to reraise people twice from the button in the same orbit! (~7:45 in) Smile

also, you need a weekly fireside chat podcast..maybe even a radio show.
