Pros advice ?

I've thought about abandoning NLHE and going straight to PLO as I'm really learning poker. Unfortunately I've heard the micro-limit rake for PLO is obscenely obscene and hard to overcome.

How accurate are these estimates?

seems to make more sense to beat 100NL at 4 tables, then 6, then 9, etc, up to 18.
