You don't want to isolate the cut-off with 88's, because he will fold more often then not to you when you do make a hand, and you will actually bleed money call...

While I think 3-betting ATo in the big blind against a UTG nit raiser is rediculous. Your plan was to 3-bet to induce a fold, but when you hit the ace on the flop you just put yourself in a toug...
Bet/Fold the turn because you have nothing but fold equity, and he ain't folding.
I'd think this is standard play here to ship it. But I guess not? I've never seen so many posts asking about how to play AA/KK, I thought those two hands are the easiest to play haha.
I think the way the OP played his hand is fine. I would fold the turn for definite also.
I would possibly 3bet this pre though depending on reads/your playing style etc.
