Yeah but putting yourself into his shoes isn't really a valuable exercise because I can't even remember the last time I minraised a flop. I just think there are better options 99% of the time.
So if I bet the turn, won't my hand look exactly like it is. If I check I could still have AQ in my range, and maybe shove the river and get him to hero call with his QT, KQ, etc...<...
You absolutely have to bet turn and shove river. Checking the turn because he 'might' have AK is going to prevent you from getting full value out of your hand. Any money you save in not stacking...

HU I am pretty damn happy getting this in on the flop given it is extremely drawy - I rarely expect to be behind here. Flatting is also fine IP - I prefer to get it in if we were OOP.
