Do we really defend profitably with 89o in bb when sb steals. Think it's a very loose call. Villain must give up on a lot of boards for that to be +EV since we almost never flop good?

I agree with mercury. I never 3bet more than 1/3 of my stack or in NL100 more than about $30 because that makes me comitted and people will not 5bet light as often imo.
