Given that this is a 50/25 lagfish shortie, his range is going to be huge even with a shove. That being said, its hard to figure your outs vs. his range until you see his hole cards.

Without a better read on the villain, I would put him on a set then fold. He probably hit his 9's. He could have air though if you want to make the investment to find out.
