The premise of my next series is for four DC STT-playing members and myself to discuss HHs (both our own and those from other members), forum posts, and whatever else of interest comes up.

I'm not looking to do all the talking (shocking I know), so ideally this is going to be a talkative, effusive group of diverse talents and temperaments.

We will meet for at least four episodes and possibly more as our powers are needed.

Who's up for it?

You don't have to be a massive baller, a poker genius, or even a winning player, just don't be a wallflower. Above all, be willing to say something that you might be embarrassed about later and not sweat it just because it's captured for posterity on video forever and ever and ever.

I don't know what it will take to convince me that you should be one of them, but if you are interested, give it your best shot here in the thread.

I would be interested but internet issues between SA and USA may just be a pain in the butt for all concerned especially in 4 way conversations. Look forward to the series though!

I'd add value here as The AntiBaller.....on Kryptonite. I don't just respew the common lines that you read over and over - I have original thoughts, it's just that a lot of times they are incorrect. I've been playing seriously for about a year now. I took some lessons from AMT. During one of those sessions_ he asked why I made a certain play. I gave him 2 reasons. He said that they contradicted each other and were both completely wrong...lol. Imagine that ...a line that was soooo wrong_ it was the opposite of itself - which was also wrong.

i'm the poster kid for "ran good early and then tries to chase that same success." Between June 1st and July 15th of 09( a couple weeks after my first lesson), I crushed the $100 DoNs on Stars ....then...well...it's been less than stellar.


Also, I vote for SlackBladder...his accent is cool.

I'd like to be considered. Since my coaching session with you Van, I've had 5 coaching sessions with Glitlr & I think I'm coming along well. I was at $3.30's with you & moved up to $6.50's & currently play $16's regularly (I've played as high as $55's)on Bodog & $6.60's at UB (planning on moving up up UP). I put in about 8 hours daily playing wise & frequent the forum here & on 2+2. I think I'm pretty good at discussing poker whether or not I have the correct answer I think I can ask the correct questions. Did a video with Bones where I did NOT play but did ask questions I thought were good (so members here have told me). In any case I would LOVE to be one of the 4.

Ok, so I'm PanchoStern's wife but yes I DO have my own opinions. I've been playing a little over year. Started with a BR of $3.70 that Pancho left behind on Carbon. I started playing $.60 SNG's, moved up to $1.10's $2.20's & $5.50's. Transferred to UB & started at $5.50's, $6.60's & now I'm at $11's. I play there under screenname Ratubatak. I have had coaching with chuckpalms04 as well as sitting in with Pancho during his coaching session with you & those with Glitlr. I watch video's & occasionally post here. If you guys don't mind a lady with a slight accent I think I'd like to be considered for the 4.

In case you guys are wondering Ratubatak is BatakQueen in my native language Indonesian.
Another thing, I did LOVE raising Pancho's blinds in that tourney & watching not be able to do anything;-)

I am VERY interested. I say things that embarrass myself several times a day. I have several witnesses to that. I play poker for a living. I play the 6.50s on Full Tilt. (yeah i don't make much money but at least my fiance works) I used to frequent the $12s, till I found out I was just running hot. I play 12 tables at a time and have lots of experience with STTs and on people that play them. Everyday I have been ironing out my leaks and everyday I become a better player.

If I was picked, I would work hard for the video. I am free any day at any time.

OK i'm active on the forums, I have uploaded vids of me playing, I upload my own hands and take the time to try and help out other members by swapping hand histories, and replying to their posts in this forum, yet I am still yet to feature in a video.

I think this is good grounds to get the opportunity and would really appreciate being considered for this project.

I'd have to be the one to pick. This is gonna be tough.

I *was*, past tense, active on the forums. Unfortunately im a lazy ass piece of shiat and I just dont have time atm with college and all for constantly browsing forums like I used to, so I end up usually reviewing my own game and playing---then falling asleep from exhaustion. However I definitely have time for this, as I could just stop procrastinating...or going to the gym as often.

I have just started coaching micro stakes players the last few months and ive watched alot of games ranging from 1$-36$ on FTP (the 24s and 36s being my own play). I think I have a good idea, now, of the differences in stakes and have gotten good at explaining things to people from my haphazard attempts at coaching.

I also am a self proclaimed poker 'nerd' if theres a game theory or theoretical side to a problem I approach I scribble down and try to solve it (although they usually end up half solved in between my calc notes -- when I usually pursue poker theory). I think that second to the coaches here I most likely have one of the better conceptual grasp of SnG math + theory.

Lastly I am not afraid at all to share my opinion and I am loud and obnoxious when I do it...note that all my posts, as rare as tehy may be, end up being long, long rants.

Why you should pick me:

I am a player who puts in a decent amount of volume at the lowest levels.(the 3$ stars turbos) I was featured in Hitchhikers last vid. ( running good was only the beginning )I love to talk (crap) as a psychologist and I think I can be a real addition to the content provided here by my rambling. I am Dutch so there is at least one person with a huge funny accent and if all goes wrong you can blame the Dutch.

I can say something embarrassing for better correction. I want to improve my STT game. I am not a wallflower.

I can't vouch for anyone else, but sohoskiracer should def be on the people chosen for this. I think that almost every poster here could learn from him.

I vote for having the couple, Pancho and Queen, up. I think the dynamic of having a couple would be great to watch. I'd love to do it myself but, think I would rather watch.
