Tourney Sweat!!
Unintentionally found my way into this when I didn't realize I wouldn't be be able to get T$ from winning my sat. In the hand below where I take the chip lead with about 65 left, the villain is batshit insane. I don't know if this is the right play here but if this 3bet/call is good against anyone, this player was about the best candidate I've ever seen:.
Field is shockingly weak btw.

I give you all my luck for next years MainEvent ok AMT =)
tyty. how about for an upcoming EPT? ![]()
wow today was so weird. All I did was sneak ITM of big buy in mtt's then lose in the worst ways possible. But I made like 3500/4k? wtf? Angriest 3500 dollar day ever.
Finished 6th in the FT $24+2 $16,000 gtd.. ended up being over $20k in the pool
Took down 6th for $945.. biggest score yet in a tournament and first final table, felt some good!
Took first place at the Showboat $53+12 yesterday, first place was just under $1300. Its my biggest win so far. Thanks DC for great instructional work, much thanks to AMT as well in particular, and WiltonTilt for the math course.
shipit guys!! gogogo
Just won my first RAZZ SNG. Funny thing is, I never played RAZZ before, so I just kept on raising to make it end quicker.
Can't even tell you why I won. Went on a long time, and I never clicked anything but raise...
I just did my first Hubble's freeroll tourney on PS since I am a DC member, and I finished in 310th position on 12000 participants. If it would have been the usual MTT, I would surely have been in the bubble.
I had no choice but to go Hail Mary All-In with K
9
, but a King went on the flop. Sadly, my pair didn't resist the Ace on the River. Too bad, it's a suckout, but I now know I have made the right mathematical choice : 25695 for my 8491 gave me roughly 33% pot odds, and and I had 38.7% pot equity and 38.5% chance to win against Villain's hand (A
3
). So, mathematically it was a sound wager.
It is my best MTT result until now! I must say I have greatly benefited from what I have learn on DC, and I have been member only since two days ago. Perhaps I could look over to SnG to make a few bucks here and there. ![]()
Not to one up you, but, instead to add on-
I took tenth in a Hubble FR yesterday!
My best result in an MTT thus far.
Hi guys, just registered here and will prolly subscribe pretty soon, great atmosphere here.
A couple of weeks ago i got my first "big" (for me anyway
) mtt win when i took down the $10 daily double B on FTP, there was a field of about 1000 ppl and i took 1st prize for $1800.
Went onto the final table as shortstack which makes me extra proud i took it down
.
The sad thing is i have no handhistory because i played on a fresh FTP install in virtualbox/linux and forgot to turn the hh saving on
.
Does anyone by any chance know if FTP saves the hhs on their server and if it is possible to request them?
peace,
Tommy
hi Tommy,
Welcome! Shipit on the tourney, congrats!
As far as FTP HHs, I've never requested any as I save them to my hard drive, but I think if you have the tournament #, they should be able to help you out if you request through their site or email support.
RAZZ HU SNG: $50
Rake: $2.5
Reading the opponent ranting in chat about why his flushes don't beat my off-suit A3467: priceless
Saturday nights are so much fun ![]()
Thanks AMT, actually i thought about that while i was writing my brag, so i'll send them a mail, i have the tournament lobby on a screenshot.
Right now i'm about to start the $28000 guarantee on FTP with the $26 token i won, wish me good cards and not too much mistakes please! (luck is overrated
).
