'I dont know....Im calling'

Sorry, but wtf is that all about?

He clearly has you beat. Fish like never bluff c/r this river, so why are you calling this?
Im not in love with the 3/4 thin vbet on the river. I think an underbet gets called more often here.
I like $3.20 or so.

In this hand, you also seem to be putting a thinking players thought process into your opponents thought process. Fish do not have a logical thought process...

I also think think the term 'Initiative' is fairly redundant nowadays. It is a word that is thrown about which really has little meaning most of the time. It should be about making the most +EV play, regardless of whether you have the 'initiative' or not.

I didn't do a good job of explaining my call, my apologies. That said, I don't think it is an obvious fold. IME, players do a lot more river bluffing HU than they do at a full table. It also was strange that the opponent would c/c on a very drawy flop, lead turn, then c/r a blank river. I said 'i'm just going to call' because although I don't know this opponent's exact tendencies, pot odds + fd and several straight draws missing + wierdo line + oddstacked random led me to look him up there. If I was to continue playing him HU for a while, there also is some value to seeing what he would take such a line with. I don't feel that tilt played any part in calling there. B-rye agreed with the call in his initial comments as well.

I havnt played HU in about a year or so, mainly just sticking to 6max-FR. So you may be right here, i am merely saying this is a fold due to my experience in the games i play in.

Regarding the overall feedback, your videos are good and have defo good learning material within. I just feel this video was not of your usual standard.

We all go through downswings, and i could 100% relate to how you felt during each hand, and in a way that is learning that even long term seasoned pros feel like that - I have said my thoughts on the tilting, and im sure you can appreciate it.

Run good Smile

alright I appreciate the comments guys I will check out those spots. i must admit i was enduring a very long downswing around when I made this video. maybe i was in a bad mindset overall when I played this session, and I apologize for that. i'm sorry if you felt your time was wasted - overall I had very positive feedback for the series, I guess this one was not up to par though.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure you mention that in the video, and I was pretty sure that's what it was.

There's no need to get discouraged about it, it happens, and I've always thought your content was pretty good in the past Smile
