Hi K,
I think that this is such a thin value bet. I was close to saying just check the river. But if I had KT, I'd value bet small OTR V this passive player. Then I figured there's not much between KT and K7.
So I like the 1/3 PSB OTR.
Could we estimate something like this-
If you bet pot size bet ($7.18)you get call by worse 0-10$% of the time = +$0.00- $0.72
If you bet 1/2 PSB ($3.59) you get called by worse 30%-50% of the time= +$1.08 - $1.80
If you bet 1/3 PSB ($2.37) you get called by worse 70%-100% of the time= +$1.66 - $2.37
So 1/3 pot size bet has a higher EV versus a worse hand.
Then consider that he can have a better hand and be going for a C/R, then a 1/3 PSB looks even more appealing.

Thank for doing that math. Makes sense

Could you clarify what you mean by getting "called by worse 70%-100% pf the time"? Do you mean that we beat 70-100% of villain's calling range?

Ok when is it right to trust your hand reading ability enough to make this river value bet? Some times you know when villains got it and when they don't (due to what your hand is and how the hand was played out). Is a poker pro gonna check this river back? Or is this a spot where its not worth it?
Nobody answered this question so it must be really stupid question?

If I can get called by worse then I am betting here, especially if the villan is incapable of making bluff river raises (to rep the flush), so when he does raise he is never bluffing and we can happily fold.
