this guy knows his stuff!

Also Curb your enthusiasm, Archer, Eastbound & Down, Bored to Death and House of Lies from the comedy department.

When it comes to drama i really enjoy Boss, some quality acting in that one.

Btw, did anyone ever watch Rome on HBO? It seems like that could be interesting as well.

Had always heard it was good but was like meh history how boring. Then listened to 8 hours of Dan Carlin Hardcore History podcasts on Death Throes of The Republic and it was amazing then learnt Rome covered the same material. Really cool show when you see all these badass events dramatized in a pretty accurate way, they use a ton of the same phrases, etc.

So listen to the podcast then watch the show imo.

I don't watch much TV so I don't know what most of those shows mentioned are. But Breaking Bad is an amazing show. Although I'd probably be afraid to meet its creators in a dark alley. And just to make n0whereman happy, I also like Parks and Rec.

Yeah, Breaking Bad is overall the best show I have watched up to this point (pending the final season). Nothing else is quite as good imo, although The Wire is very, very close.

Just started Season 2 of Mad Men tonight. Just be warned - the show takes a while to get going. It wasn't until the end of Season 1 that I thought it found its legs.

Once I'm done w/ MM, then I'll be ordering the Game of Thrones Season 1 collection (assuming it's not on On Demand when I switch to Verizon).

And I'm waiting for Breaking Bad Season 4 to come out on DVD as well.

Other than those, I really want to get into Boardwalk Empire and Rome definitely sounds intriguing.

Also, Modern Family is the best sitcom running.

If you haven't started watching Sons of Anarchy, I highly recommend it. I never got around to it thinking it the subject matter would be meh... but holy crap was I wrong. I found seasons 1-3 on netflix and was hooked. It is as addicting as Breaking Bad... and just like Breaking Bad, each season got better and better and then BAM season 4 just blows you through the roof with the action. Both Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy end on season 5 which hasn't aired yet for either show... gonna be sad to see them go.

I gotta check out this Archer everyone has been recommending

Never really got into Spartacus. Too much peen.

but the dialog is classic...

"And what I wonder, does good Solonious receive for convincing me to spread cheeks and accept deeper ramming."

Some oldies, but true classics:

OZ...first couple seasons just make you very uneasy. Definately should be shown in schools, would reduce the crime rate.

Arrested Devolopment....Hilarious.

Only modern shows I watch are:

Archer. just beyond funny.

Game of Thrones..needs more epsisodes, show is brilliant.

Season 1 Spartacus..Great...2....was very good...This season 3...was very disapointed. Thought it was pretty poor.

Strikeback..nice action and twists
