How about just calling in JQo hand with the intention of either floating river or going for a c/r on the turn, depending on villains barrel tendencies?

under what assumptions would this play be higher EV than just raising flop?

So why cant we check call the river here on table 1 with QK. Since he has to fold so many hands and his range is gonna be ranked towards draws mostly, and some weak pairs that fold anyway. Im shocked that wasnt in the discussion during this hand. Obv hes a weaker player and we like to VB vs these villians but in this particular spot when the river brings a ultimate scare card I think its ok to at least give a thought of check calling here. He really only calls river with 10x of clubs since 7x folds and 8s and 9s will as well most likely. Just curious, great vid so far. Thank you.

my default assumption vs those guys that have high VPIP and low PFR is that they are passive -> not bluffing with busted draws. You should not consider c/c river unless you know that particular villain will bluff with draws often enough for check to be higher EV than betting.
I look him up on Pokertableratings "harien" and he is a loser. Why is he giving anyone advice and he's talking here like he's a coach

I'm not sure if you're trolling or not, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt in case you're not.
Associating short-term results with ability to play is inane. 14k hands is a week or two's play for most pros, in a game where downswings in the hundred's of thousands of hands have been observed by proven winners (winners over millions of hands). Additionally, if you bothered to look around, you could find recent results from blah's play shown in graph and result form. Regardless, you should be capable of judging any coaching given based on its own merit when looked at closely, and the work he has done coaching for multiple members of this site speak for themselves.
