Hi normally in a session I make some really stupid call, where my first instinct says "I'm beat" then I level myself a bit and call. So to help me (and you) post your stupid calls and thought processes here so we can all stop calling!

My thoughts on this hand is that he has either a big PP or AQ/AK. He was a solid TAG, with a low 3bet. Once we get to the river I think I'm bet folding, once he clicks it back I think set! Then my brain goes and I click call!

Gotta say, dont think this is quite the terrible call you say... Ok so its hard to think what your beating, but your calling $8 to win $34.59, better than 4:1, I make worse calls on good days (hmmm maybe thats why ive only just moved up to 5NL)

I think the river is a fold against a solid tag at 25nl, though I can't fault anyone for calling in this spot with your hand. Most players won't value raise AQ/AJ on the river, nor will they ever bluff here.

Definitely leveled myself here. I tried to fold for like 30 seconds, but I talked myself into calling because the slight overbet confused me and I wanted to see what he had....my curiosity gets me sometimes

Good thread, I've got lots to post although getting better at folding when gut says to, still very hard sometimes.

Making the right decision on the forum is super easy. But in R/L it's not like that.

With AK. I can't blame you for calling. Although I also agree w/ SCS. Doubt I'd fold anyways.

With KQ. fold River. He'd have to be super sick to over jam with a bluff or KJ.

Yeah its probably a good idea to just keep posting these hands until I get too ashamed and stop making bad calls.
