frustrating start - ran terrible last month; running terrible to start the competition, came within $10 of the stop loss, started winning back only to get coolered a few times. Now at the brink of elimination & running around $90 below EV LOL

Time to start next session. I can't afford to lose more than 1 BI, gamble hard Smile

Moving down stakes again in a desperate attempt to stay in the competition.... not sure it's possible to win if I have to move down this far

I am out, probably 1st busto, $1k stop loss reached. GG GL HF guys, I will watch your progress. Btw I am still motivated to make 50k hands, just in order to make a decent sample.

there are 2 criteria to win.

trying to win it in the first 500 or 5000 hands shouldn't even be a consideration. you can't win it now, no matter how hard you try, but you can certainly lose. this is like the first level of a tourney.

I finished the session ~~ break even, but still I have already hit the -$1k line, so according to challenge rules I'm done ;p

Btw I kept on playing my regular stakes, NL€100, so we can say I played with a 7.2 BI bankroll. I was doing quite well recently, therefore I didn't expect such huge downswing in the very beginning (still I could have saved ~~ 2 BI I guess).

I've had a couple of really fun sessions today and yesterday... I'm still down half my BR because of my dreadful first session, but since then breaking even and enjoying it thoroughly.

Nearly 5% of hands played. -$50ish

Well, I missed sign ups, but what I am doing while trying to build up a bankroll is pretty much the same as this so might as well have fun and update like I'm part of this. Smile

2,000 hands in up $3.92 with a 2.53 BB/100 at 4NL in November. I have to say, Baluga Whale and Tuba Steve are the tits. Haven't played any poker since the FTP thing, and all DC has me feeling good about my game and ready to grind up another roll.

Run good everybody.
