I'm in Australia. It's already the afternoon of the first.

Officially worst session I've ever had.

Almost 50% of my challenge bankroll gone. Lost with KK 4/5 times. Lost with everything. Fuck it.
1% of hands played.


Was the kind of day that makes me feel like I've not learnt anything at all... like I'm missing the part of the brain that's required to understand poker.

I know I'm not really THAT bad... I just feel that bad right now. Oh well.

Think I might have been the first DCer to start this challenge - up at 6am to play before work, in New Zealand. Any advance on that?

A primary goal of my play is to meet the main challenge requirement and play 50k hands in 3 months. I hope I will be able to do it, because I am a student, so uni takes out lots of my time.
My secondary goal is perform a 3rd shot on NL200 - maybe this one is going to be better

I hope that I won't run bad at the very beginning, hence my stop loss in EUR is ~~ 7.2 BI
My plan is to win 5-6 BI (haha I wish) and then make a first attempt on NL200.

Just stick to your time zone, you start the challenge earlier, but you also finish it earlier. However, it is still pretty irrelevant, given the fact we have 92 days

+1 BI, it would have been more if I didnt become a spew monkey after being showed T9o after folding to a 5bet shove from an Isildur wannabe. iPoker at 10nl seems completely rammed with them.

If you wanna be secretive about how/what you're doing then that's fine, but a message in this thread saying you're still in and rocking along will be REALLY helpful for @Itsatrap to keep track of everything.

It looks like there are more people in this year with the 2 bracket thing... and last year I had to chase up like 80% of runners, many of whom had decided not to go ahead after all... but without giving us a quick message about it...

I'm planning on writing an update/blog every 5k hands or so fwiw.

I'm in, although not only am I missing the part of the brain required to understand poker, I'm also missing the part of the brain required to understand specifically which of the myriad proposed structures for the challenge have actually been adopted, and which of the threads I'm supposed to sign up in.

I'm also missing the time required to actually complete the challenge in any sort of practical length of time so it doesn't really matter if I don't know what the rules are.

Since I have complete ignorance on my side and I have used up a ridiculous amount of runbad in the last two days so I absolutely can't fail.

Bring it! $100 BR category.
