your loss. You should be happy to hook Bart up with a measley 9 dollars per month after the podcast was offered for free for three years and as cash plays before that. If you don't want to pay for the podcast and listen, so be it. But don't whine about DC. Bart wanted to make some more dough off of his podcast, rightfully so, and he's free to do that. Its not like the podcast was part of the DC monthly subscription plan and now it isn't. It was free to everyone, and after years of giving it to everyone (members and non-members) alike, Bart and DC decided to charge for it. In no way should that affect your monthly subscription on DC which got you the same content it always did for the same price per month.

I echo Joe, Rob and Aaron's sentiments here. The decision to move to a subscription model was not Deuces Cracked's it was mine. The alternative was going off and starting my own independent site where multi month DC subscribers would have no benefits. DC and I came to an agreement to license the new content and keep the branding.
DP has always been free to subscribers and non subscribers alike. This move doesn't change any of the content on the site that is available to subscribers only. I really don't see how this transition should make you feel like a second class customer when in reality nothing is changing.

I am having an Itunes problem. It doesn't seem to recognize my password as it keeps on asking for the username and password.
Are you using the iTunes password (as displayed on http://www.deucescracked.com/podcast_subscriptions)?
If so, send me a PM with the username and podcast password you're using. I checked out authentication under your user and it worked fine for me, so I'd like to run through the steps to figure out where the error you're having is coming from.

Even though no one responded to my particular issue, it seems to be working now. I went to the podcast page and it showed a banner at teh top of the screen saying i have premium access. I followed the instructions on itunes and its working.
Question, is there a way to listen to teh episode online when it comes out, or only on itunes?

Currently it requires iTunes (or another podcast reader which can use the same type of feed URL as iTunes). Sorry for the lack of response in the forums, we pushed a fix a few hours ago though, glad to hear that it's working now.

Oh okay, so no way to listen on a phone (other than an i-phone)? Thats a good option for me often when I havent had a chance to load the latest episode onto my i-pod... so if its possible that would be great.

It probably depends on the phone - you can also probably use podcast software to help you download the podcasts, then move them over to the phone. You should be able to though.

Just so I understand. I need to now purchase an i-tunes compatible device to listen to the new bart podcasts?
You do not have to have an iTunes compatible device to listen to DeucePlays Premium. The podcast is delivered via an RSS feed, the same as other podcasts. While the menu names may be different, most podcast software will use the same information found in the instructions at http://www.deucescracked.com/podcast_subscriptions for iTunes.
You can even use the free Firefox web browser to view the feed and download episodes from there.

When I go to the podcast subscription page (http://www.deucescracked.com/podcast_subscriptions) it asks for a credit card number and displays a button to 'Create My Account'. I'm logged in and a six-month member.
One thing to note -- my 6-month subscription expired 16 days ago which I didn't realize until I logged in, so I paid for another 6 months this morning. Is there perhaps so kind of new indicator in our user profiles that isn't getting set after signing back up so it thinks we're not premium members?
