It worked like a charm for me. I was not a Deuces member before but I don't see why that would have made a difference. I downloaded through iTunes following the instructions on the subscription page.
Good luck with the new plan, Bart!

Just canceled my DC subscription completely after this month.
After being a loyal customer for quite some time now, paying more (no problem with that) than somebody who takes out a longer term subscription, being treated like a second rate customer because of that I don't see any reason not to cancel.
Other sites I'm a customer of don't treat their customers like that.
Either you're a full paying customer of the site with access to everything that comes under the name of the site or you're not.
So yes, this "add-on" really made a difference to DC in my opinion.

Pete8400,
Sorry to hear you feel this way. Bart's departure from Deuce Plays (non-premium) was entirely his idea. In exchange for helping him build out some of the technology, we were able to secure free memberships for some, but not all of our user base - I certainly understand that this may come across as a slight to you (and other monthly members) but it wasn't something that was within our control.
This wasn't an "add-on" by DC to try to make an extra buck, but was instead something we were trying to hold on to for as many of our members as possible.
thanks,
Rob
The problem is in signing up. I get an error message when I tried to pay for the subscription. Also is there a way to link to that page from the website so I dont have to type in the exact url that bart posted on twitter?
What error are you getting?
Rob

Hi Pete,
Bart's idea for a subscription podcast was of his own recognizance. Deuce Plays was 100% free for a long time, you did not need a subscription to DC. When Black Friday came, there were some cut backs on the DC budget, and we had to adjust Bart's schedule to twice a month. Bart had always been thinking of taking the podcast to a subscription model before Black Friday. After some long discussions we agreed to exchange our subscription expertise to secure the podcast free for 6 month and 1 year subscribers.
A 6 month and 1 year subscription will save 15% and 20% respectively on your monthly subscription and you will not have to subscribe to Bart's podcast as you will get it for free.
Let us know if you have any questions,
Joe
What error are you getting?

Here is the message I receive in a red box at the top of the screen after I entere my cc info and click "create my account:"
"Something went wrong while creating your subscription. You have a basic account, your payment was successful, but your account may not work correctly. We have been notified and will fix your account shortly."
I've tried logging out and logging back in last night and today and I get the same message. I checked my accounts and they haven't been charged yet. Also, not sure if this is intentional, but there isnt a place to enter the three digit number on the back of the card where it asks for my cc info. Thanks for the help, hopefully this is a quick fix.
I also get this error message in the pop up window when trying to play the older DP podcasts. The download option works, but the play episode button in the archived podcasts section prompts the following window/message:
The page you were looking for doesn't exist.
A few things may have gone wrong:
•The page may have moved.
•You may have mistyped the address.
•We may have made a mistake, distracted by tubasteve's avatar.
So now what?
•You can return to the DeucesCracked homepage.
•Search for what's missing.
•Email for help at support@deucescracked.com.
Not a big deal, but thought I would let you guys know.
Thanks, we'll look into both errors.
Rob
I must be dense. I can't find the new podcast or how to subscribe.
You can subscribe to the new podcast at http://www.deucescracked.com/podcasts/deuceplays_premium

Hey:
I haven't been following this thread much, but my impression was that Deuce Plays Premium will available at no charge to annual subscribers (which I am). When logged into my DC account, the link above asks me to "sign up" with a credit card. I was expecting to see the new premium podcast ...
Thx,
Steve
It's not obvious to me how current 6-mo and 1-yr subscribers should go about obtaining access to the new premium podcast for no extra cost. Thanks, Belloc.
Is the payment/subscription error issue resolved yet? Thanks.
Ijust tried to make a payment to subsribe to the podcast again and now it I didnt get the same error messgae, but instead it tranfered be to another page that read as follows::
