i really dont get why they didnt just update hm1 instead of making hm2, except for all those new licenses we have to buy ofcourse

It is a bit of a shame what's happened with HM pushing out HM/OM and the TN's at cost as well as the applications of dubious usefulness (LeakBuster). I do dislike how HM2 is closer to PT3 in terms of aesthetics - a clean, simple GUI is so much nicer.

Their business model is screwed up: they don't get repeat income even from people buying new PCs, so unless new poker players are being produced at a rate to maintain sales, they'll wind up in trouble. HEM2 is a way to sell to the people who have bought HEM1.

What they SHOULD do with HEM2 is charge 25bucks up front + 10 bucks a year.

It's a completly different program, so you should be able to, altought I don't have it so cannot answer for certain I don't see how installing HM2 would block HM1. Smile

I installed it and am back to using HM1 for my main play so yes you can still go back. The only thing is you may have to find hands played using hm2 and reimport them in hm 1 manually but thats not a huge deal
