Burto92 is now officially part of the 666 team and so then there were 3. 3 more slots yet to be filled and currently 4 interested members. Update: Burto92 is no longer part of 666. He has changed his mind and decided he is not willing to put in the time commitment to this group. Also at this point its been over a week and I have not hear from "mrtrebus' or 'veepee' and am assuming they are also not interested in being part of this group anymore. So we do have a couple of spots open let me know if your interested. Thanks.

Just to update we are still looking for new members who want to work on their PLO game in a group enviroment.

At the moment we are meeting at @ 10am utc on sundays and some evenings during the week @18.30 utc we use Skype and Mikogo both of which are free to use.

During these sessions we will be discussing videos on DC ,hands in replayer for holdem/omaha manager,hands in the forum aswell as sweat sessions.
Non Atttendence at meetings is not a capital offence ,everybody has some commitments ouside poker ,but we believe that if we work together we can all improve.

Update: So been around a month since I have updated this and there have been several changes to the group structure that have relaxed the requirements. Here are the changes following the original order.

Requirements to be considered for the group
1] Time zones: Most of our meeting are held @ 18:30 UTC on weekdays and weekends. If you can only make it to the weekdays meetings that's fine, if you can only make it to the weekend meetings that's fine too as long as you can make to one or the either. Attending meetings and taking part is your responsibility
2] Willing to put in the hard work required to improve and willing to openly share and discuss ideas with group members
3] Your primary game still needs to be 6 Max PLO and you should be playing at the micros 2pl to 25pl however if you play higher and want to help this group by doing a sweat or hand history review with us we would be grateful to have you as a guest member
4] A blog at DC is no longer required or necessary maintain one if you want. Also I will not be continuing the member blog at DC since it didn't gather any interest and since no one is reading it, it kindoff became a waste of my time
5] Being active in the forums and regularly posting hands is something I recommend however its no longer necessary
6] Regular Attendance as mentioned before is important but I am not going to run behind you trying to make you attend meetings. Meetings are beneficial and will help you improve that said till to date I have not fired anyone from the group. Generally there is a pattern with member who don't show up for meeting will drop off on there own without having me to fire them and so if I a member is inactive for long enough I will just look for new members to fill that void
7] I don't care if your a full time poker player or not. In fact most of the players that have been in this group long have full time jobs but make time for this group and my hats off to them.
8] I paid subscription to DC is no longer required to be part of the group but clearly if we plan on discussing a DC video in PowerPoint it would be beneficial for you to have pre watched it with notes
9] A pokerstars account is no longer a requirement since I realize if you are a US player this is not possible
10] Holdem Omaha Manager [Paid Version] Not required but if your serious about improving its vital
11] Table Scan Turbo [Freeware] A freeware software to help with good table selection again not required but beneficial
12] Headset with Microphone is required and necessary
13] Skype required and necessary
14] Mikogo/Teamviewer [Freeware for personal use] We generally use Teamviewer so that is required and necessary
15] Table Ninja and Camstasia [Paid] both optional

Now what this group will do during meeting. Some of the things from the initial post turned out to just not be feasible. So here is the revised version of what we do:

Our meeting consist one of the following during each meeting:
1] Hand History Discussions: This will consist of members talking to each other on Skype while discussion hands posted on the DC forums or from hand histories from a members HEM. I ran a poker group before and I can tell you I learnt a lot doing this.
2] Sweat Session: We watch a member play live while discussing his play.
3] The Classroom: This is where I kind of take the roll of a teacher and I will give sort of a brief PowerPoint covering a video series, a chapter from a book, a article etc followed by discussion and questions to clear any doubts we have.

Hey all, Been a while since we needed members but seems like its that time of the year again. We have 1-2 slots open. Since this group has been running for a while we would prefer members who are not complete beginners still being total beginner would not disqualify you just depends on what sort of responses we get. Its time to close this group I ran this group for almost 12 months and the members and me now feel that this group has run its course. We are no longer learning PLO and we feel we have the basics and fundamentals of the game down so I am going to be stating a new thread looking for Micro Stakes PLO players who are not beginners and just stating out on there PLO journey. I thank all of you who participated in this group it was great having your input and opinions, I can say with confidence it has made my progression easier to say the least.
