Talk about having your wish come true...
Thanks for all the comments!
It sure did, although i'm really disapointed in you man, theantlers just gave you the perfect setup for a joke, and you failed.
How can you guys be talking about Joe being old, and theantlers said that old boxers turn into drewling morrons or whatever, i'm def not saying that Joe is, or maybe it was such an obvious joke, that you didn't feel the need to say anything. Hmmmm
Anyways thx for making my work day with only two hours of sleep, entertaining.
The first one with twofouroff, was really good pokerwise, and the sec one was really entertaining, and I like the fact that you and Mitch can be serious to.
Keep up the good work mister tooth fairy

I think it's fine with a decent table mod. And the tables don't always insta fill, if it's not peak you'll generally have 5 seconds - 2 minuntes, idk if I mentioned it in the podcast but I usually wait 15 or 20 seconds to see if someone else wants the seat to make it a little less douchey.

Hate to throw some strat in here but i disagree with some of nixon and bigvee's live theories. Specifically on bluffing in live cash and having to play tight. Also calling all online tourney players terrible I have to disagree with
As long as stacks are deep enough i think you can get away with a ton live. Its not going to be the same as online where its cbet take it down. Its like bet, bet, bet on a 3,5,7,Q,K type boards. The hands are face up a mass majority of the time and when you get check/snappcalled OF, check/tankcalled OT and another overcard roles off on the river, Its like a hugely profitable spot considering how 3,5,and7X are in most live players limp range utg lol
. Its just not going to work with one barrel. Granted this dosent apply if there is 40bbs in the pot pre just cus there isent room.
Also tells are real. And imo similar to a hud, a piece of the puzzle not something to base everything on. All that being said games are different from country to state to city to casino so i may be off here.

Did BigVee really manage to get in a few bad beat stories in there?
Also, it might be just me, but I'd rather lose my money to the guy not bothering anybody with his headphones, than the guy pretending to drink and pretending to be interested in other people's bad beat stories.

I concur there are many good online MTT players, just saying you will never see a weaker lineup than the local live tourney....
I can conceed there are some good bluff spots, but conditions have to be right as you stated. Most low stakes games I play in are 100BB or less. I find just go for value has been most profitable.
And I think I mentioned tells being a piece of the puzzle, but I would rather take in all the info besides "He twitched his nose, HES BLUFFING!" type attitude hehe..
But Im glad someone listened...

Eeps wasnt my intent hehe - I swear!
I suppose drinking coors light is akin to pretending to drink, I personally dont want to lose my money to anyone... But I was referring to most fish, like me, who are just there to have fun.
And 2 listeners!

Yeah, perhaps what ruffled me (being a limit hold'em coach) was your concept that those games should be played "like limit games, because nobody every folds". Like, there's a lot of bluffing in limit, too. And there are ways to win in those games besides just playing tight and valuebetting.

I definitely didn't mean to insult to good limit players. I think Bigvee and I were both talking about the low stakes games. In my experience playing live 3/6 LHE, saying "no one folds" is not far off the mark.

The consequence for disagreeing is that you're now obligated to appear on the podcast. Punishment fits the crime IMO.
