it's really said to hear that deuceplays wont be a weekly show anymore.
But i got some suggestions to keep it as a weekly show you might consider.
You could switch every week between a free show and a show for subscribers. So 1 week is free, the next week is only for people with a subscription and so on(I would definatly subscribe again).
Or you could always make the latest show free and the archive for subscriptions only. Or reverse, the latest show is always 1 week exclusive for members with an subscription.
I hope you'll reconsider and make it a weekly show again, i really enjoy this podcast.
(sorry for my bad english, but i think you get the points i'm trying to make)
Very good suggestions I see no reason why Duces Plays should be for free.

I'm not really adding anything to the discussion, but i have to say that
listen't
is my new favorite word.
Well sorry about my english I pretty sure I speak more Languages then you and defiantly crush you at any poker game out there.
In fact, we just hired three new coaches to strengthen out team: New Coaches announcement.
Great! I really love the way strategy.pokernews.com presents there new coaches with a link to PTR where you can see there results.

It is a shame deuce plays will only be twice a month now but the flip side is that deuce plays twice a month is vastly better than no deuce plays at all. Thanks to DC for keeping this podcast going at all

Well "Hey Smile" was added to the podcast section, someone had to make room for it...... hehehe
Its disappointing to hear this about deuceplays, but the reasoning is sound. Just make it a 2 hour episode every 2 weeks! hehe

That's a good point I was actually surprised back in the day when I saw that it's for non-members as well, why not make it members only given the quality of the content?

to be honest when I was listening to the show I was expecting the "bad news" to be permanent shutdown of the podcast. I am happy that there is at least a twice a month version still planned.
I have been huge fan of "deuce plays" and its predecessor "cash plays" for a long time.
I am not a subscriber to deucescracked but I would consider paying per episode for deuce plays via iTunes or something if it helped.
Keep up the fantastic work.
PS. even more Limon please

Just joining the pile-on to say, Bart's show is the reason I signed up at DC and I am disappointed to learn of the cutback. But, twice a month is better than nothing. Hope a time will come when he can go back to weekly.

I don't see what the problem is here. I googled DP and there were tons and tons of videos for me to watch. Surely you guys haven't seen them all?
And just so this post isn't 100% trolling, I have a strong feeling that with the amount of positive feedback for Bart's podcast DC will do everything in its power to bring it back to a weekly podcast once the dust has settled. I think we can all survive on biweekly Deuce Plays for a while and hopefully the forecast clears for the better in the near future.

I've been listening to his shows since pokerroad days and he really is the reason I decided to join DC instead of some other training site.
Isn't his part as a live player exactly what you'd need to keep the US-players coming?
+1 Perfectly put. I just can't understand the reasoning. I understand the tightening of the belt with the recent happenings, but with the influx of players into the live forum, we need Bart now more than ever.

We have to remember that Bart is starting a live video series. His production is not going down. If it's once a week he will actually be doing more work for DC now. We also don't know how long people will be forced to play live due to the online situation. When the dust settles I'm sure DC will ask Bart if he wants to do vids and podcasts once a week and they will definitely recognize what people are asking for.

He has a video series of live poker hands coming up, His series + his podcast will be 6x month now, more Bart, not less.

True if you are an avid video watcher granted but not true for those of us that find video watching boring and only grab the podcasts to listen to and think about during commute or travel in the car. I can see there is no reason for you to cater to people like me free-rolling on the site but maybe there is a way to offer a podcast only subscription - I would sign up for that.
