Revive the old format - of what would Joe Tall do!
Does not have to be the king of poisons but I think a quiz with DC prizes is just the tonic for the community.
Also get allwind back for some of his alternative game series.
With respect to some of your high stakes US pros - I would consider going to a poker database and getting some of the pokerstars isildur challenges - get a number of them together to discuss what they think is going on with say Ike vs isildur as one example.
Great ideas, stay tuned!

It would be great to have more content at the soft European skins. Since black Friday I moved from FTP to Ongame (registered through DC), games are totally different imo. More Inavacuum vids
OMG this was exactly what I was thinking, like word for word
As Velvia states the games play differently imo, and would love to see more content from euro sites.

We have had a few threads recently asking about the future of DeucesCracked.
First off: thank you.
All of you have helped contribute to making this an amazing poker training community.
And also Rob, you really scared me with these first lines, I thought you guys were shutting down. I saw my poker life pass before my eyes

DC is not only the best teaching arena out there, but it's also the poker community with the classiest members. So thank you founders, producers and coaches, and kudos to members. Thank you, Rob, for reassuring us.
Although I'm naturally not vocal at all, this forum somehow managed to entice me to post a little.
I'm located in the US, and even though live isn't my cup of tea and my preferred online options are gone, I will stay a paid member at DC. I'm certain many others have similar plans.
I just have one request: Please continue to provide LHE content. Any type suits me. I particularly liked Live Jive, and I'd love to see more from mike l.
Ideas that don't require sweating or actually playing online off the top of my balding head:
- Cartoon-like formats would be cool for hand reading exercises. For example, preflop action happens, hero has a visual of his perception about his opponent ranges. The visual is shown like in a comic book. Combo calcs are made and explained. On the turn after the action, this visual range narrows down and we could see the combos that were eliminated from the range. More combo calcs. The narrator would explain. Same for the river. Hands could be completely hypothetical or real hands played. Suited for online or live.
- Play a single hand on many different flops. Don't just say the new flops, visually represent them. At the end, do a sum up, maybe a table with the few flops discussed so a holistic view can be attained. (turn, river...)
- Single hand and board vs. different types of opponents. How would you play them online, and how would you play them live...holistic view at the end.

++1 to Live Videos, especially LHE. I just watched episode 1 of Live Jive. Even though I play, when I can get to AC, $5-$10/$10-$20 I thought the video was informative.
Anther thing would be hand reading, putting players on ranges. I know there is a series for NL that talks about this but a series for LHE would be great. Maybe something in a question and answer format, idk. But something to help players, like myself, analyze the opponents better.
Just my 2c.

DC Homegame: An actual live homegame with cameras (don't need hole card cameras though)... and booze. Bart Hansen commentating with a guest co-host each week. Have a NewYork and L.A game.
Will win the award for highest budget series in DC history.
Edit - or everyone could just battleship it on their laptops (cutting between the live camera and shot of the play money table)

I am really curious about my earlier question. I'm sure it just got glazed over and I don't think starting a new thread is necessary
Entity's response in the blog comments:
@soleztis, we intend on expanding the types of offers we have to make it as feasible as possible for people to qualify for free/subsidized memberships.

this could be epic
A strange idea came to my mind: In times of crisis, coaching sites work together. To close the gap, DC feautures some of the latest Dr. Giggy/Galfond/The_End etc vids, and vice versa. This could be taken one step further, that Samoleus reviews a vid of Ansky, and so on. A new form of recycling.

I really like this idea for learning. I've been a paying member for 9 month or so and love the content. I've considered dropping the subscription since I don't have any place to play small/micro PLO now but what I've been doing for the last week is exactly what you guys are talking about. I've been searching out all the theory and live play series. Last few nights I've been heads down with Pokersense, Dude where's my mouse, and live jive. I've also been seeking out all the micro FR videos since I figure that will speak to live play the best. I'm in Tampa and live next to the Silks. I'ts just a hobby, but a passionate one for me. I've probably spend about 3 hrs a day on average for the last 2 yrs either playing or studying and looking for a job (laid off in Dec.).
I think this is a great time to dive deeper into theory and FR live play. I'm stil a newer player but was trying to spend most of my time on PLO since I find it really interesting. Plus it seems to help my FR/live play as it's more of a drawing game.
Couple of recent questions that I can't seem to find anywhere yet:
- The live series seem to be LHE and her at the Silks its all NL FR cash or MTT. I mostly just play 1/2 or even 1/1 due to bankroll limitations. For 1/2 I'd like to have a good 5 - 10 buyins which comes out to $2K to play comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't seem to justify that while laid off, married, and looking for a job. Anyway, since the only real outlet for me is "micro" live I'm not sure where to get good trainign for that? Even with $60 buyins on 1/1 it's not that fun to burn through 2 or 3 buyins vs. online play where I can manage a smaller roll for learning better.
- I've started looking into Lock but for some reason can't even figure out how to test the play money games before trying to get into micro real $? I must be missing something here? I also got an interesting email promoting Lock...
I tried the Visa but it didn't work so I asked about the invite for UseMyWallett. We'll see. I'm not sure if that's a good idea anyway.

Another idea is something along the lines of a PLO outs tester/simulator. Something where I can just bang through hands, and various boards to count outs, odds ets. I've got an interesting app on my phone for PLO wraps. I'd like to see something more complete though.
http://www.androidzoom.com/android_games/cards_and_casino/omaha-plo-wrap-hand-calc-pro_lhov.html
Also with live play, how are you guys remembering all the hole cards, suits, and board details for video replay? If I play live for 4 - 6 hrs I'll probably see something like 35*6 = 210 hands and after a few beers I wouldnt' be able to tell you anything about most hands. I remember the big pot situations and key cards but not enough to reconstruct in a hand history replayer. Is that just paying that much attention or are you guys taking notes?
Thanks,
