At FTP, can't get a secure server when I tried to log on to my account to see.

I just logged into both FTP and PS and did not get the message about Americans. Not sure why. Sat at a table with cash as well. Must still be cycling.

All money will most likely be frozen. The government is not going to care whether or not millions of people are depending on that money. In their eyes, it's all illegal, all stuck.

About 18 months ago the DOJ froze a payment processing company in the industry that I work in... that money only recently became unfrozen and the payment processing company ended up using most of the money for defense.

What will this mean for DeucesCracked?

There's a lot of unknown variables right now. No one knows how this will go down. I'd reserve judgement on its ramifications for the time being.

Feds Go 'All In' Against Online Poker Sites

FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge JANICE K. FEDARCYK
said: "These defendants, knowing full well that their business
with U.S. customers and U.S. banks was illegal, tried to stack
the deck. The defendants bet the house that they
could continue their scheme, and they lost."

How many more puns can they possibly shoehorn into this situation?

Edit: And now I can't withdraw either. Pokerpocalypse, imo.

On the bright side, you can then use that money to join our Kiva team and loan the money out while waiting for all of this to blow over! Smile

Well this sucks. I take the afternoon off to grind all afternoon. I'm on 4 tables. A couple start to get bad so I waitlist a bunch. Then I get the message that I can't play ring games etc etc.

Interestingly I'm still able to play the 4 tables I am on.

Hard to play your A game when you aren't sure you'll get the money you are playing with though. Don't want to leave since it could be my last go around. Tempted to go out in a 95/90/80 blaze of glory.

Then they are restricting at the IP level now.
In Mexico, I still have webpage access via the IP address -- but my PS account is in the U.S. (I am trying to update with PS support now).

CRAP!!!! Now that went down too. Client still working.
Thought I slipped through the FBI/DoJ noose.

Just to be on the safe side, I would probably suggest withdrawing some of your money if you live in the U.S. I can't speak for other countries. Who knows how this will all go down, but it can't hurt to take some $ off (if it works for you obv).

On the bright side, you can then use that money to join our Kiva team and loan the money out while waiting for all of this to blow over! Smile

The payment processors are probably taking most of the heat right now, so sending your money there might not be the safest idea. It's probably safer on the site. IMO

Don't go there, Razor!
Eric Holder (U.S. Attorney General and DoJ) and Obama are Democrats.

The sites have FBI and DoJ seals.

.

Sorry. It's just that one party happens to be behind the UIGEA and killing the efforts of the other to legalize it. I'm no fan of the other guys either, but this one is clear.

I wonder how much Vegas casinos have to do with this. Locking out FT/PS wasn't enough, they want 'em in jail? That's hardball.
