DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY WE CANNOT PLAY? i understand and have read all the articles and NOAHS repost....i still dont understand WHY WE CANT PLAY....is this coming down from the SITES themselves? i dont see anywhere the DoJ has said we cant play on there?

they have seised the domains and apparently the IP addresses also. The IP's are what allow us to play

Well crap again.
My PS poker client will not let me sit down at a table (same notice as everyone else) -- and I am outside the U.S. My account was originally registered in U.S. Trying to get it changed to my location now (where I have always been with "real money") -- but I am sure they are concerned about a lot more right now -- than little ol' me.

Can you imagine what the FT and PS offices are like right now? C-H-A-O-S maybe.

Title VIII of the Act is also known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (or UIGEA). This title (found at 31 U.S.C. §§ 5361–5367) "prohibits gambling businesses from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in a bet or wager that involves the use of the Internet and that is unlawful under any federal or state law."

That's the only thing I'm worried about, hopefully they can arrange a plea deal or something to only seize profits and pay players back their money if it comes to that.

I'd guess ftp/stars is worth more than 93c on the $ (almost 100% u get paid but could take 2-3mnths n worst case more)

I just logged in to Stars from Canada and am currently playing. If they have had their funds seized though are we playing with funny money? They must still be collecting real rake? I won't panic though - too many question and this just blew up.
