What are some good ideas for how to spread the word at the WSOP?

of course the shirts etc, perhaps a banner that we make and use at the DC meetups. I'll try to think of some more
I just ordered 250 business cards to hand out. I will also probably order a shirt or hoodie to rock in Vegas.

I guess I'll just have to win the ME ![]()

I'm going to do my part by winning the Triple Draw event!
What about asking well known players to wear a patch. Imo many of them would really like the idea and wear the patch w/o any money involved
I think that giving away clothe patches is an excellent idea.
Regarding on how to improve the notoriety, I would probably also try to enter in contact with the poker press (paper/online) during the series or even before. Even a small article in the "buzz poker world' in bluff magazine for example would be awesome or a live interview available on the Internet. You can also sometimes meet a famous player in the corridor so dont be shy and go ahead and tell him/her what we are doing. Btw all the DC team could also wear a patch beside promoting DC + maybe friends of them. The series is a great place for poker peering and networking. You could not expect a better place to promote BI2G imo.
Another paycheck, another round of loans.
I learned that you can sort loans by "expiring soon", so these are all loans that are close to running out of time to raise funds.
First up: Food market in Mongolia expanding its products.
Next: A shoe store in Mongolia, also expanding its merchandise.
Finally: Lebanese dude who needs a loan to upgrade his equipment for his car repair business.
I've pretty much selected this as the standard request for family to give me vouchers for birthday/christmas.
For many years now we've dreaded the gift giving thing coz... there's no trinket my mother etc. can buy me for my birthday that I can't buy for myself.
So Kiva is a perfect thing for that.
Pretty much all loans are pre-disbursed. The loan has already been given before it was put on Kiva for funding. Your loan is helping the MFI more directly than the person you're loaning to on the Kiva site, so they can make more loans and lower interest rates, so just go through the MFIs and pick ones you like, and fund loans made by that MFI. With pre-disbursed loans, the only thing the person you pick influences is when you get repayed (and if you get repayed, unless it's a 5 star risk rating MFI).
@grindcore...
Reality is fun and I'm generally a big fan of it... but just this one time I'm gonna stick my fingers in my ears and imagine my money specifically goes to that particular man/woman to buy exactly that 1 cow.
No logical reason for doing so... I just like it better.
I'm assuming patches have to be sewn on. Is this correct? If so, I feel like maybe that will make things more difficult? For one, who carries around sewing equipment? Or am I missing something and patches are actually really easy to apply?
Checked my Kiva account... found money in there. Cool repayments have begun.
Re-lent it.

patches pinned to shirts or maybe iron-on patches. way easier than getting it sewn on.
you can also have magnetic patches which you can 'click' on your shirt (used by hotelliers and in restaurants etc)

Rakeback ftw.
