I'll still be active with Deucescracked even if I get a job and will most likely be making videos for a long time, so never you fear. But it's time for me to move on.

Well, i think it's a good idea to move on and make something with your life. Poker is just a game. Trader is a strange choice tho... not really more meaningfull than poker player to me.

Haha, this part is great. Thanks for continuing to make vids. GL.

Him: “Man, that was brutal.”
Me: “Yeah, no ****.”
Him: “9 in a row, that’s disgusting.”
Me: “Yeah, no ****.”
Him: “I’m telling you man, you should have bet black.”
Me: “Wait, wat?”
Him: “I’ve been working here for 30 years, I tell you, sometimes people ride a rush and make a ton, and sometimes they don’t ride it and they always regret it. Should have gone with black.”
Me: “Sir, I’ve been up for 30 hours. I’m starving. I’m broke. The last thing I need is to be lectured to by some moron who believes in continuous probability.”

Great read, and I envision myself making a similar post pretty soon.

We will have to talk about finance in NYC during DC week / Jay's birthday.

Best of luck in finding fulfillment and happiness.

I'm a NYC guy, if there is a DC thing going on for Jay's b-day and it is open to members I hope I get to meet you, I really enjoy your videos and your approach to NLHE.

open video sites... quit poker... standard line... aba20, Taylor, duck, and now FWF... ; ;

good luck with working 40+ hrs a week. You've been great to the game. Really sad to see you go. I remember reading many of your posts back in the day. The game will truly not be the same without FWF stackin donks and talkin shit =(. I don't play NLHE anymore, but still have a lot of respect for the way you play the game.

"Your minraises are tilting me, i'm going to play Tran"

P.s. your avatar still fucking sucks... GO CANES!

Good luck FWF. It's always refreshing to read about a great poker pro sucking in the early years. I took up the game last october and I am stil making a tiny amount at nano limits. I envy your position.

I had 7 different jobs before the age of 20. I have had over twenty different jobs in my life. Not counting the military I have only held three jobs for over two years and I had them all at the same time(I owned a Nursery, Day Care, and Pre-School at the same time.)

I avoid being in debt and as a result I can quit a job whenever it is no longer enjoyable. No debt equals being about leave when you want to. I raised four kids, did some traveling and have never had anywhere near the money you have FWF.

FWF if you stay out of debt you can enjoy life without having a lot of money. I can only imagine how much more traveling I would have done if I had your money when I was younger (or if I did not have a wife and four kids lol).

Anyway I just wanted to post and say that life is meant to be enjoyed. Do different things until you find what you enjoy.

I actually JUST started watching the movin' on up series, before that I had no idea who you were. The series is great, you're an entertaining producer.

Although I don't share in your riches, I have felt the same things towards an actually meaningful future and career, as I'm sure most people our age have...you get to do it with more support though $$$, the doors are open and you are flexible, the future is yours.

Good luck to you...if you stop producing movin' on up I'm leaving Deucescracked!!!!....kidding, cheers.
