in general i would fold a7o as well as offsuit hands that are likely to be dominated - kto and the like. generally i'm not folding suited, or pairs, or nondominated connectors like 98o
You`re taking 2 to the face with 98/109o here? I think thats bad. I also would never call weak Ax offsuit hands. If you ever suspect that the button would fold for two more bets preflop (which hardly anyone ever does), you can start coldcapping more liberally. If youre going to do this its also good to identify people who dont show down a whole lot/doesn`t fight back a whole lot.

i agree with folding weak offsuit ace hands. t9o is getting into maybe dominated territory but i feel like 98o 87o maybe are closer to okay. it could just be selection bias since i made a straight one time though as i haven't actually stoved it out, etc. but my gut tells me it's kinda close

I don't know maybe I'm too loose in this spot but I'd be calling A9o here, probably folding A8o and under but maybe even A8o would get in for the ride.
Our AX has a chance of being dominated and I know nothing of Neverwin but if he's a good lagtag sorta guy I'd expect 44+, 9Ts, A2s and A7o are in his BTN 3bet VS cutoff range and the SBs cap (btw do you mean 800k hands of 1$/2$ or 100$/200$?) either way if the SB is very good or very bad his capping range is probably lighter especially in this Co and BTN situation I wouldn't rule out him capping 77, KJs, most of his AX hands are probably better then ours but there, I would think, is likely enough 'other stuff' he's capping here that calling 2 more small bets with A9o isn't WTF awful, espcially because Neverwins (assuming he's a lagtag blablabla)3 betting range is likely to be very wide, though playing OOP to a good player with a holding a marginally showdownable hand in a big pot vs his likely wide range is never going to be easy and being in the middle post-flop will also have it's problems. SO I DON'T KNOW.
When concentrating and with reads, i.e an at least decent idea of how these guys play, I'd be fine with playing A9o here I think but whether it's actually worth it I'm not sure, maybe it should just be nitted up to AJo?
I'd never fold AX suited just because I like to call 2 streets with a flush draw and then make resentful unimproved river calls.
