I'm really enjoying the series, thanks Aaron.
This may have been covered, I haven't read the entire thread, but one thing about watching higher stakes players do X and Y that I think is beneficial is if instead of just doing X and Y, taking the concept of X and Y and asking better players about why that player might be doing that, thus improving our own thinking. This relies on us having friends who are better poker players than us, and most of us do, but that's the only downside I see.
yea totally agree

WoT what is your stance on buying hand histories from PTR?
It is specifically prohibited on Pokerstars, but just like the sharing of hands between CTS and Hastings on FTP it will be very hard to enforce the rule, and therefore it should be allowed?
And just like in the case of you using PTR would you recommend me to go ahead and snap buy pokerstars hand histories from PTR even though I think its unethical as long as I believe it would give me an advantage (or at least level me with people that do buy them)?
EDIT: NVM You already answered and I will definitely go for it, it will be cool to have 10mil hands when I move up and nobody knows me on a higher limit

Also, in your example when a reg waits for a fish to sit down at a fresh table that other reg started... Would you recommend leaving the table and re-sitting to the reg's left and have still position on the fish and make the reg's life hell IP ?

i like it in theory but it's hard in practice. i think the downside of potentially losing your seat at the table would be really disastrous (often these tables with known fish fill up fast).
I would prefer to see some sort of measure to stop people from bouncing in and out of tables when action starts/stops...like maybe if they leave when there is action, they can't come back for 30 mins or something...that way there's some incentive for people to hang around at least for a little bit. I'm sure there's some loop hole or case where this idea isn't good, but I think it would be nice if the sites did some tinkering with the concept so the games would be less predatory (although you should notice that I'm a bit biased here because I want to be a predator to the other regs).
