Turning Stone Trip Report:
Finished 18th in a live tournament, which was a bit better than a mincash. Wanted to kill myself, but I guess I'll have a Hendon Mob page now?
Played 20/40. Got them to bump it to 30/60. Then got them to bump it to 50/100. Then won almost every chip on the table. +10k no problem.
The end.
Finally! A brag itt.

Link to Hendon Mob page or it didn't happen!
ps. What's the procedure for getting a live game bumped up in stakes?

Uh it's not up yet? Maybe it didn't happen?
Well first I started a list for 50/100. Then I sat down at the 20 game and they asked about it so I wondered aloud if they'd like to just bump it up to 50. One guy said no, but would I like to play 30 so I said sure, why not? And off we went.
Then the guy who objected to 50/100 went busto and it was 4 handed with guys who liked to gamble for more dollars. So we did.

Woot!
Shout out to Slycebu - I joined his table again tonight and sat out of his way this time (two to his left).
Had a really enjoyable session. Made some poor call-downs to start with then got a bit creative and *thankfully* hit some boards in the process.

lol - I just bought leakbuster for limit a couple of days ago - according to the analysis, you should be playing a ton of pots with me, I'm leaky as hell...
Though honestly I'm certain my biggest leak is tilt. LB identified several things I didn't realize about my game, and seems very helpful so far - but I think you hinted in one of your posts last month that you were trying (unsuccessfully) to run over lp's, and that's clearly one of my problems. When I fail to run over them, it tilts me to no end and I end up spewing.

I can't believe you were at Turning Stone. I live about 8 miles away and rarely go, though the Friday night 20 or 30 game is often pretty good. In a role reversal I have been working in your city (if you do indeed live in Rochester) for the last two weeks and I have come to like this city a lot more than Syracuse. Even your Dinosaur BBQ is better with service and spacing, though the food is consistently tasty at both locales.

? Where are the gutshots, pocket pairs, Ax, and flush draws? I am pretty confident this would never happen if I had AJ in this spot.

While the latest ep. of Dexter is awesome, it only reminds me that every ep. used to be like that...

Seasons 1 & 4 were definitely the strongest, 3 was so-so, 2 was meh, and this one is OK...probably the 3rd best season IMO. If I were to hazard a guess...next season will be the last, but it's kinda hard to say since they've actually managed to somehow grow the audience this year (probably because last season was fantastic).

It might be because I watched 1 & 2 together, but I have to say those two are the strongest.

Season 2 of dexter is underrated, if only because that british chick was so damn hot.
