Ok, is the Central Time in USA, those interior states on USA, right?
Can you show me a city example on that CT range so I can look for my equivalent time zone?
Chicago city?
Many Thanks.

Already registered, well done Mr Hobbeys!

Here in Portugal I will play at 11 PM.

The blinds are 15 minutes wich is great for postflop play skills and leave the push/fold mode skills to late stages.

I liked the phrase "Play Hard play to win", very cool!

Hey Van, I still did not watch your last video series "Hey Van". I still did not ended the Real Life Micro SNG Grinder video series either.

I like to call here but I also like to raise. With the flop you got and the fact that you just called you should bet here and know (mainly because this is a problem I am seeing in my own game) that if you are called there with that bet size you are likely beat.
-=Used HEM to look up this situation and when holding a medium pair and limping early pos and then betting on the flop with an overcard showing 90% (according to my DB) of the time we are beat by a bigger pair or a set.

KAo SB 50/100
The board is too dangerous to check and then call a large bet like that. Someone could have the straight with QJ, I would consider betting there. I am also wary of the turn check. You have already called a large bet and the pot is bigger than your stack by far unless you have specific reason such as a read (and a really good one at that) I would push all-in instead of giving my opponent the chance to do so. It worked this time but you need to maximize your EQ.
-=I checked my HEM for times where:
NL, Hole Cards (AQs+ -AA,KK,QQ), Preflop Action Facing Player (limpers), Position (SB,BB,EP), Position of 1st Limpter (MP,CO,BTN)
= Times I was in early position with high cards against limpers.
Results: The only times I lost money were on boards where there was a 3 card straight or flush)
But this was not close enough to your exact situation so I changed it again:
NL, Hole Cards (AQs+ -AA,KK,QQ), Preflop Action Facing Player (limpers and raiser), Position (SB,BB,EP), Position of 1st Limper(EP,MP), Position of 1st Raiser (MP,CO,BTN)
=Times there was a early position limper followed by a raise.
Results: This time I lost every time I lost when the board showed a 3 card straight or flush but now I also lost to AA and KK.

AT MP 100/200
You did great here. I would recommend trying to bet over pot sometimes and keep notes on players because some will call with cards they would not have if they are the type to think you are bluffing. Other then my experiment, Nice Hand!

Q4o BB 200/400 +25
If this is read based then really great move, but I do want to point out you are risking almost all of your chips in a situation where you will get called only by a better hand, ie AA, KK, QQ, any set, any J, and a flush draw would be getting more then enough value to call. This one was very risky and I hope you had good reason for it.

A9s SB 200/400 +25
The math is good here for this push. (I am sure you knew that and that is why you did it)

AJs BTN 300/600 +50
I do not like the limp here, I prefer to raise or push.

J8o SB 300/600 +50
I love how you did this one. I would have though these guys were going to fold too, you are really running all over them! From an EQ stand point I cannot say based on what I have seen from these guys they fold too much.

Overall
I think your late game was great it was filled with well timed aggression, and I did not see any major spots that you missed to go all-in(as a tribute to vandweller and his Flying Blinds). I think the only thing I would say is in your pre-late game around BB 100 - BB 600 you might have been just a little too eager to play. Honestly it was hard for me to find problems with this HH and I was looking, you might have been very lucky in this SNG, however you did play very well also.

I want to add that my HEM look ups are not complete as I do not have enough hands to go by.

Do you mean, I shoul dpush more often than just limp with some hands?

Thanks for the critical thoughts, really apreciated.

Btw, yesterday there were 2 players (me included) registered on the private tournament, I hope more DC players could join.

All right. I will watch more videos than those 5 that is for sure, but I will watch those first, thanks Van.

Hey guys,

Right now I'm playing the 6.50 45 man turbos. I am making a LOT of elementary mistakes, but most of them are on the aggressive side. Despite some big errors I am doing pretty well thus far with a small sample of games. Looking foreword to learning more about the game and reviewing HH with others! I'll be sure to check this group regularly and am on AIM quite a bit.

Basically yes but it is very important when your M is low (stack in relation to the blinds). Basically the thing I kept seeing is you were trying to play your "normal" deep stack game at times where you should have been much more aggressive. Also do not think that pushing is your only option sometimes a regular 4x or 3x raise will work better then a push against a certain type of opponent. I am going to look over your next hand history too.

Also please feel free to to defend/argue against any advise I give as I will do the same. It forces us to think about the situation.

Hi guys, room for another one in your group?

Feel free to add me on skype bruce.yard

I use mikago for sweat sessions
Time zone for me is GMT

I mainly play the $5.50/9 person sng's on stars with some $2.20/180's mixed in.

I have a 23% roi over 650 games on the 9 mans but this week have hit a 20 buy in downswing, "most" of these losses were on the bubble so i have gone back to basics and learning icm from scratch.

I am currently on my 3rd viewing of vans 1st blackboard video, just downloaded the charts and am going to try and get this into my little brain.

What is the # of the private tourny?
Cheers all
