Is there gonna be another one Wed. again?

For everyone who is playing the 6 max home game tomorrow. I got an idea about doing our sweat session while we play. Those who are on the sidelines can watch me play if they like.

Anyone playing the home game if they like can save there interesting HH's to discuss on skype using mikogo after our home game session. This way we are like getting a 2 for 1 deal and I am able to keep up with the mid week sweat session this week.

Hopefully everyone that plays the homegame will join in for the post game hand discussion and hopefully each of you have HEM so it is very simple to save HH's. Let me know what everyone thinks I think the home game is set for 2pm CST?

Also I think we could all talk if everyone wanted to during the home game over skype on a mic unless someone wished not to. Anyone who watches me play is not allowed to discuss a Hand until after the session. We are all here for the same reasons to grow our game so I don't see any issues with worries of colluding going on or anything like that. I do want to get everyone's opinion on the matter though.

Siiick... I got my new Asus laptop today. I hope to be able to record our sessions soon, once I work out the kinks.

As far as I know the game is full but maybe they will have a 2nd one or something.

I use CamStudio per Entity's vid. My old laptop didn't have the memory to run CamStudio and Mikogo, etc, but will try on my new one.

If you keep the headphones unplugged and sound loud, you will record the others' voices through the mic. This is the only way I know to capture other voices. If anyone knows better, please let me know. My headphones are not USB but plug into the std jack.

IF anyone's interested in recording the sessions I have Camtasia and the program called Pamela for recording Skype conversations.

I recorded a couple of the early BGLL meetings and that was useful to everyone.

I also use Pamela and think it's well worth the ~$25 (although I recognize I'm in a position where I intend to use it more than some others may). However, be aware that there are multiple versions. I accidentally bought the wrong one at first (Pamela Call Recorder or something). The one I wanted was the Professional version. They also have a free one (the downside being a 15 minute recording max I think).

The only downside is that my versions of Pamela and Camtasia record at different rates, which means I need to sync up sound on my videos (N.B. this is NOT true if I am the only one speaking). I use Audacity for file conversion and then sync it in Camtasia. It's a little difficult to explain, so if you decide to go ahead with a similar setup I would be willing to elaborate then.

Ok so with Camtasia you can record audio + Video at the same time?

On a single player video, yes you can do audio and video at the same time with just camtaisa.

Using a Skype conversation you record the video with Camtasia, the audio with Pamela and then synch the files together in Camtasia.

It's usually helpful, unless you've got a supercomputer, to have one person do Pamela and one do video, especially if you're hosting a meeting as well although I don't know whow resource intensive Skype screensharing is atm.
