i think i've read at least 2 posts in the 2+2 forum where people are having trouble finding out where to sign up. this should be high priority for you guys. i think if you added it's own tab after the articles tab "Sign Up" then there would be 0 confusion.

if a member is already signed in, then maybe it loads a different page without that tab there?

We can't add another tab to the top, but I'll pass this on to our UI guy and have him make some improvements with it.
