Hello Wayne and Tommy,
Love your conversation.
I got curious about that results orientedness thing.
I found myself looking at BB/100 stats on HEM way too often, which automatically stops my A game (Logically speaking– while looking at the stats, I’m not checking hand histories and making notes about my opponents. Less than that is worse than my A game. More examples can be made, though).
It happened because I’ve improved my game a bit lately and I was curious about results all the time.
For example, I was playing at 4BB's/100, but now I think/hope I'm adding 2 BB's by playing better.
It didn't work too well, because I tilted like a monkey after a while.
It's similiar like with a bowling story.
So, now I made a few rules for me:
- look at graphs, winnings, BB/100 stats only once a month;
- all the other time I can only look at played hands to analyze them;
To control this somehow, I made an Excel document, where I write my session playing times and also write, if I'm watching at these stats while I'm playing.
What do you think about it? Does this practical idea sounds OK?
Thanks.

Yes. Those are good ideas and they are coming from good awareness. That you thought them up means they are likely do-able, meaning, practical.

I think this is very interesting given the current state of online poker since Black Friday. We are always harping on this series, yet almost no one is speaking of online cardrooms favorably. At the very least, anyone still allowed to play on Stars or Full Tilt should be speaking optimistic words in hopes of attracting as many people to their site as possible, not just now, but possibly in the future for US players.

I am a new subscriber, and have always liked Tommy's insights a lot.
Question: can I download the whole series as MP3 and play it without watching, or do I really need to see the video? (About 20 minutes in, it seems mostly like an illustrated podcast)
