I'd like to add to this, that if you're telling yourself you're better than someone else, and then you get unlucky when playing, you'll be disappointed much more than if you think something along the lines of "I rate to be the favorite if I play in this game at this moment". So it's actually in more ways useful to think about it differently.

This is specifically the case for tournament poker, I mean how often have people sat at a final table knowing they were by far the best player (that being true or not is not even that relevant) and ending up in 9th or 8th place because they got unlucky...

Great video so far, DC just keeps covering more and more areas which are very important!

This triggered a memory from when I used to play cricket. At the age of 14-15 or so I played at a pretty high level but I had a bad-ish season by my standards, felt something may have been a little wrong, which of course only makes things worse when you overthink it.

So I went on a coaching course at Old Trafford where the bowling coach did something similar in that you did warm up exercises and then did your full bowling action while blindfolded/eyes shut. What it did was make you trust your action and you were know longer worried about where you're trying to place the ball, your just bowling, and by the end of that week I could drop the ball pretty much on a handkerchief becasue my action was so consistent and used that practice routine for quite a while.

Awesome vid guys

Thanks for the encouragement. Sorry it is slow in places, but Tommy wouldn't let me talk more.

Tommy will answer your questions. I'll take your criticisms. That's our deal.

It took a long time to produce, but was worth the effort, we think.

I thought this wasn't coming out till August! What a happy surprise.

I look forward to the rest of the series. This series alone ought to pay for many months of DC goodness.

As for finding a better word for donkbet, a word only takes on the positivity or negativity we give to it. Donk is a good word for betting out. I'll happily donk, given the right circumstances. It's a term for an action, nothing more, nothing less.

Quite brilliant.

DC sets the bar even higher for real high-quality output.

As for finding a better word for donkbet...

I voted sticking with donkbet because douchebag is just too general.

Tommy plays the piano?

And guitar and drums. And plays hell with my psyche, but that's not actually all that hard.

Good stuff. The first 20min were quiet slow but if u keep watching there are some fine advice/ideas later on.

I think we need a new word for donk-bet. "Leading into the raiser" is too long. And "donk" is a judging/negative word like Tommy says. Could someone with English skillz please figure something out?

I love to donk but I lead the flop.
