So Improva said I could make a thread here for a place to discuss his book the Poker Puzzle. I'm on my second reading of the book and would like a place to discuss this stuff with others who are reading it. So I guess post here with any questions and Improva said he would be here to answer them.

I like the idea. I was also thinking that maybe we can setup some sort of group to discuss hands and such (only for Improva students). Of course it would have to be limit specific (as I play 50 NL and plan on hitting 100 NL soon).

good idea but can we talk about the book without posting the content?

Improva is the mortal nutz. I absolutely love the book. Read it once so far, now re-reading and doing the exercises. Personally, i decided to not play any more poker until I have completed all exercises in the book - because this is so radically different than the way I thought about poker a week ago.

If you are not sure ask me. But atm I can't think of anything as long as you don't cut paste whole parts of the book into the forum.

Anyone done the exercise on pg 44 yet and want to exchange notes? I'd post it, but it is a large unwieldy excel file.

Also - Exercise 2 (playing blind) is my new pre-session routine while table scanning, etc. FWIW.
