Hey everyone,

I wanted to let you all know on a secret plan of mine that should hopefully encourage some more players to play the DC tournament coming up on May 16 (the post is in the general discussion forum).

For my next series, my plan is to base it on the last tournament, this one on May 16th, and probably the one but maybe two after that.

Hopefully someone can do what I think is being done with the last one - collecting all the hole cards and making a video that displays everyone's hole cards. My plan is to bring in a few of the top finishers and do commentary on the tournament with those select players on skype. Basically, it will be part coaching/part my own commentary.

I think this format could make for a really exciting series, and I'm hoping that you all knowing this could provide a cool incentive to try and play really well.

I hope this provides an exciting opportunity and a lot of people play this and try to crush it. Also, if someone will volunteer to make the original video (no audio) with holecards displayed, that will be helpful, as I'm busy as hell and having someone do this for me in advance will allow me to devote more time to the series.

Awesome that your running this! Been a goal/want of mine for a while for at least one of these vids to happen as i think alot of the tournament forum know from when someone was organizing our own private tournies on stars.

Any status on the progress of this series or when the next Duckament tourny will be?

Is it safe to assume we will not be seeing the first vid in this series until after WSOP?

I sent Vanessa all the hand histories and have uploaded all the Camtasia footage to the DC servers.

The plan is to have some of the more technically knowledgeable staff add hole cards to the footage and take it from there.

I was able to come up with a real cool effect for the hole cards, but it was incredibly inefficient since it involved manually placing cards as "call outs" for each hand.

I have not heard anything in the past week, but I will email Vanessa and see if I can get an update.

It is the only HH from the final table I don't have.

I am also still taking HHs from anyone else in the tournament who has not sent them to me.

Hey guys, unfortunately it doesn't look like this series is going to happen. It just didn't seem to work out getting everything coordinated and getting all the hand histories for everyone from the tournaments.

When you're constantly trying to be innovative, sometimes seemingly good ideas can flop for unexpected reasons, and that's what happened here. But check out Tournamentality for awesome tournament content!
