Do you always fold here against bad lags? Having played with the villain some at lower stakes i know that he is, in fact, bad.
Yeah he's bad. This is a fold though. I'd only even think about calling against someone very good or very bad in a very specific way.

Should we ever be considering raising here against a good player? I think the donk line looks more like the bottom end of the straight at best, and with our flop raise we could easily have a king here.
But DD is the only player in the world capable of folding a straight and since he is never playing himself it makes no sense for him to consider this line
.
Anyway according to MoP we should take the best hand we fold and raise as a bluff and I guess Qx suits that description.

I wouldn't raise flop here.
I'm fine with a fold.
Must raise this flop, it's a HU blind battle, when we just call and he checks, the hand is over often, or he c/c with a draw. Raise the flop here, see if he peels light and put your bets in when he's on the draw after.

i would just do a close call, its BvB, he can have some 9x which he turns in a bluff etc. also you say he is bad, but not non thinking, so i think he could turn something into a bluff, also we show other players that we arent bluffable so light

It's hardly a disaster when he checks turn. A ton of bad cards can come, and we'll lose a lot more when behind than we gain when ahead for a few reasons.
