Many of my conversations with my buddy Alex begin similarly: Hi. Whatsup. How you doing. It doesn’t matter who starts the initial hellos. All that matters is who ends them. If I start talking next, the conversation can start anywhere and go anywhere. If Alex starts talking next, it goes l... Read More
Despite the fact that my main games for the last couple years have extremely high variance, I had not had a losing month for over two years up until January. A lot of this is a function of anal game selection and playing a ton of hands each month. Since I started playing for a living... Read More
Like I mentioned in the description, I am starting this blog because of The Mental Game of Poker by Jared Tendler. I want to be able to catalog all of my emotions post-session so that I can go back and check out my progress. It’ll kind of be like a 2+2 PG&C thread in a way. So , what I’ll be doing each day is writing about my session from a strategic and emotional point of view. Then I’ll give myself, on a scale ... (continued)
Hello my dearest readers… I cannot believe number of viewers of my Blog hit 1000… I am very very happy about it and much appreciate your time… I hope I can do better job keeping this page updated. I had a pretty bad run last time I posted. I tried some more sessions and things went wrong even more… pretty much wiped out all my earning of 2NL and I came close to the verge of scaling back to 2NL again. Then ... (continued)
I recently just took the biggest downswing of my life. I don’t know what’s been going on but it’s been following me for about 2 weeks now. I decided to look at some vids and study other pros’s through process. Hopefully, I can dig myself out of this evil rut. Maybe I’ll start posting some theoretical ideas just to see if my head is still in the right spot.

This month I’ve had a really hard time stringing winning sessions together, which is ultimately frustrating. Often the losing sessions are caused by a bunch of cooler-ish situations where I don’t have much choice but to get it in bad, but this one was just a constant barrage of suckouts. I can’t actually remember a session where I so consistently get it in good and lose. Also, I rarely have a red line tre ... (continued)
Let me start of by telling the story of Simpleme.. I got to know poker through a friend of mine who told me that he was gonna rent a studio paying it with his poker winnings every month. I started laughing and told him that gambling really was not healthy. ( FYI this same friend just had another 30.000$ week ) . When more people in my direct environment started playing poker, they convinced me to try and take a 50$ no deposit bo ... (continued)
This is a paragraph i like very much. It is from the book “Small Stakes Hold’em, winning big with expert play†by _Ed Miller, David Sklansky & Mason Malmuth. If you “run badâ€, or get a bad beat for a couple of hundred dollars. This is the way to calm you down. Random and Independent Events The human brain is very good at identifying patterns.
