I play all stud games terribly. This is something I’m working on, but it’s slow going. Luckily, in poker, you don’t have to always play the game you’re best at. No, you just have to find someone who plays worse than you do. I’ve found this to be the case within the stud games in the 7-game mix. I put in no volume over the past month as I needed a break from poker and wanted to focus on my health. I just picked up the book Play Razz Poker to Win. It is a very short book, but seems to cover quite a few topics. Should be able to get through it in a day. I am going to go through some of Joe Tall’s content, I am thinking of starting with: From Donk to Stud Nightmare on 7th Poker Pro Tools Video I am not planning on playing Razz or Stud to often but I have some time to kill and some of the games seem really soft. It would be good to have a better understanding of these games.
