So after playing for a year, I don’t feel like I came anywhere. I’m not getting better, making solid plays, tilted by variance and bet/folding situations, or losing AA versus KK three times and lost to 4 quads in 2 days. It’s though to handle, but it’s okay. After a month and a half of not playing online I finally bit the bullet and jumped back online. Played 2 session where the first I won $350 and the 2nd I lost $1350. I was playing 1/2 plo deep stack on stars and brought in for $400-$500 a time. Even though I overall lost I felt good about jumping back online. One of my yearly goals (which was last years goal, and year before that etc etc) was to quit smoking. I had managed to quit at the start of 2009 for a few months and then slowly got back into it and up to my usual 20 a day. Things got worse when I started working full time. After having looked at my first 70k hands @ 50nl, despite the fact that I genuinely believe I am skilled enough to C R U S H these games, I have realized that I am a very marginal loser there..
