The game is Pot Limit Omaha. The table is 3-handed. The BTN is god. We weren’t having much fun because most hands went like this: BTN raises, SB fold, BB fold Great. Self-dealt home games are meant to be action games; we made some adjustments: 2bb ante No blinds Every player is dealt 6 cards Every player must discard 2 cards face up, starting from the BTN The flop is dealt immediately after the discards, with no pre flop option for any player and it just worked.
I’ve been playing at the .25/.50 deep/ante tables on full tilt. This plays more like 25NL, in terms of opponent skill, but the actual money being played with is the same as 100NL. I see people making really really awful pre-flop mistakes, all the time.
